tcgram...you look so much like a old-fashioned, conservative Ohio gram of the 1950s to me. There's something in your musical tastes that maybe you should Photoshop your eyes to glowing red or something in your pic. :) Wish I could meet a woman my age with your interest in music!

Never thought of myself as being conservative, LOL. My dad was a musician so I was exposed to all genres of music as I grew up. Guess that's why I love it so much. I'm sure there are lots of women your age who love music as much as you do, you just have to find them! :)

Another great guitar player. "It's not how fast you play, it's what you say."

I love Brian Downeys drumplay on this one. He has a loose and relaxed jazzy style to his play, but at the same time so damn tight. When you watch him play live he seems to be on valium almost when he plays, with no care in the world playing these tight and complex beats.

I remember trying to play this song on the drums as a young teenager, and failed miserably.

A lot of swearing and throwing of drumsticks.

:)

I mean I could play it, sort of. But nowhere, even remotely, closely, as tight as he does it.

Why the sad face?

I've forgotten how to post videos and there's no help at the help desk.

I've forgotten how to post videos and there's no help at the help desk.

Copy the link you want, then click on the "Link" icon on the second row down, below the Font, Size, etc. It will pop up a box where you can paste your link. You have to remove the http/ part of the link if you want the video to pop up. For example, if it's you tube, you would remove the first part so it says, www.youtube, etc. Then you just post. Hope that helps!

The fact that you could even remotely keep up and play some of this is awesome.

When the box pops up with the URL link, you take out everything in front of the www.youtube, then hit okay, then post. Sometimes the links will not work and I don't know why, that's when I wait a few moments, and try posting again. I'd say try it again in a little bit and see if it works then.

I took the URL, minus the http:// bit, from the very top of my computer screen. Brace yourselves for deluge of videos!!!!!!!:tsu:

From the past I seem to remember it was important to use 'more reply options'/'use full editor' ...... maybe that doesn't apply any more.

I think this young woman has a wonderful voice ..... reminds me of Grace Slick('White Rabbit'). Edited by ouija ouija

Killing two birds with one post.. Ouija, I see you have got it now, but if you leave in the https:/ bit at the start it won't work. GET RID of the S!! it should just read http://.......(or you can just lop off the http:// bit, as you discovered..

The reason I posted that.. is that it's what I am listening to, but on VINYL - Yaaaay!!!.

Been wanting to get back into HIFI again, and over the last few weeks managed to find a corker of a turntable, and a big old Yamaha amp, both really cheap. Cleaned them up and got it all working tonight, dragged out my old LP's, and have now been listening to a couple hours of all sorts of 70's and 80's stuff, from Michael Murphy to America, Little River Band, James Taylor, Bee Gees, T-Rex, even Burt Bacharach, the twin pianos of Ronnie Aldrich, etc, etc.

I just love that almost indefinably different sound of a good record on a good stereo, and there's something very satisfying about the technology of 'real' records versus the clinicality of CD's and MP3's.... Luddites rule!!
