The battle network games are somewhat overpriced. Legends is cool 3d environment (once u get used to junky controls). Anyway check out X 8 when get chance. It doesn't look anything like a typical X game.

I don't think I've played x8 since it came out. Looking forward to working up to it

I've been thinking about getting this one for a while. Heard it gets a little repetitive. What game doesn't these days?

Tell me how that Ghost of Tsushima goes. I've been cautiously optimistic.

I'm about 4 hours in and I'm loving it. Combat is very reminiscent of AC Odyssey. Switching between attacking different enemies while surrounded, certain attacks for certain types of enemies, etc.

The game itself is just gorgeous. Gameplay is smooth. I have read that submissions and the like get a little repetitive and drag on in such a massive world, but that's really par for the course with any open world game these days.

How quick is the combat?

Definitely more like Odyssey. There's for sure some technique involved, but this isn't Souls style combat at all.

So I'm further in and if you add some Templars and an Piece of Eden and it's AC Samurai. Still great so far, though.

I camt give this game anything but glowing reviews. At the start it seems like it's going to be a little bit mundane and typical, maybe even boring but its anything but. Thebgame grows and grows and then it grows on you. From excellent story telling, amazing graphics, the pacific northwest setting, voice acting and facial expressions/body language in the cut scenes, great gameplay with many side missions that remain fun and challenging even though the objectives for each type are basically the same. This is a highly adult game. The themes, evil characters, language and extreme violence. Ntm, zombies (infected 28 days later types) of many types from standard to children to roided out beasts that you'll fight constantly and run from small packs to hordes of literally hundreds. F#^% I loved the shlt out of this game. Just beat it a couple days ago, hard mode of course. Just freaking buy it.

I'm currently in a limbo as I don't have a gaming rig or console currently and can't decide if I should just go for the latest or just hang back a bit and just get a cheap previous generation setup and catch up on some games I liked seeing but I've never played these past few years...

I ordered the Mega Man collection. The original, X, and Zero/X for ps4. Should get it on Monday. I need something to wind down with. Currently play Duke Nukem 3D.

I bought the collection a couple years ago. Now I know for a fact I played and beat a couple of them 30 years ago when I was a kid. Now, I couldn't do a damn thing right or get through more than a couple levels. I wanted to blame the controls but they're probably as simple and responsive as they were back then. Incredibly frustrating. I gave up.

Same with Castlvania. I bought that collection just for #4 from SNES. Played and beat it a hundred times back in the day. We used to play it to the Master of Puppets cd as a soundtrack a lot. Anyhow, advancing wasn't as tough but the gameplay just sucked ass. Not that its worse than it used to be but its simply dated as it gets. Enjoy!

Lol nah. Sold it to help fund my business back in March. I'll likely buy the PS5 around launch. Can't make the time for it right now but it hurts all the same

Was just coming back here to comment this. Fantastic game.

You should bank two tech points at all times so when you get a new stance you can get the increased stagger ability for it. Helps tons.
