Decided to play Wolfenstein The New Colossus. I'm bored. I think Doom Eternal ruined me. The game is slow and I have to skip the cinematics.

Is that Wolfenstein 2? I think it is. That game is pretty darn great but the first one, The New Order, was by far better and a fantastic game all around. Doom Eternal is pure adrenalin though so I can see your point. Didn't beat it it yet though.

Wolfenstein's pace is what I'm having trouble with. I'm accustomed to fast pace ripping and tearing. Plus I can't really run and gun through it.

Really?! That's a pretty awesome stat if true. Worse titles have gotten sequels for sure. Glad you're enjoying it though. It's amazing til the end. Some of the hoards will get your heart pumping. Let me know when you finish it.

Yep i just finished it , definitely a great game , i was a little dissappointed at the end , because i was really saving a napalm molotov for Skizzo , but i couldn't do it. :) There certainly is plenty of room for a sequel there for sure. I just downloaded The Talos Principle , yet i have not played a Resident evil game , and am still in zombie mode kind of so i am thinking the Resident Evil 2 remake as well, maybe before i do Talos.

I am playing this. We never used our living room, being just my wife and I, now we have changed it to a game room. We have decked it out with strip lights, a tv etc., and have used the room more in the last three months than we have in the 20 years we've lived there - when there was just couches and tables. 4,500 classic games on a commercial grade cabinet. No stupid ads, no pay to play (unless you want it to accept quarters or tokens), it's like being at the arcade as a kid. Original graphics for each game because they ARE the original games. Top lays down for cocktail play. I wanna work for these guys. It's a hit when we have company, which seems to be more often now. :D

And a gif of it with some relatives playing with it. I don't think I'll every buy a PlayStation again:

Funny, I like games where i can stop for sightseeing (gtas skyrims etc), I actually enjoy looking at the small details.

Depends on the game for me. Once I've cleared an area, I do some times go back and look at things. Bioshock 1, 2, and 3 were nicely detailed. Same for Doom (2016) and Eternal. Despite hating the jumping areas of Urdak, it is a beautiful level.

Finally finished Fallen order and grabbed the platinum on PS4 and PS5. Playing a little Immortal : Fenyx Rising (pretty fun game, even though it's mostly a cash grab by ubisoft) until Horizon releases this friday. Then it's all Horizon until Elden Ring hits.

Why is " Watchdogs 2 " still so expensive ? its around 50 bucks on most of the pc platforms , i mean , didn't this come out in 2016? Thats like 6 years old.

Picked up a PS3 for a $100 and am playing a lot of the exclusives. I'm on The Last of Us, right now. Typical PS interactive movie, with awesome graphics.

Last of Us was great.

2 was just okay. A lot of people didn't care for the story.

Neither do I. Sounds too depressing to play. PS3 is a great console albeit with a user interface that's a hot mess and a controller that's crap. The PS2 Dual-Shock is much better.

I guess i just got used to the PS3 controller over the years. The PS4 was a good redesign and the PS5 feels good, if a little bulky.

PS3 had some fantastic games. If you haven't already, check out the Uncharted games, and of course MGS4

They're among the 50 or so games I picked up for usually much less than ten dollars. Most used game sellers don't realize how easy it is to fix scratches on old Bu-ray disks, so they sell them cheap. I have the first three Uncharted games. Fun stories and great voice actors!

PS3 games are so cheap these days. Didn't they remove them form the PS store?

Rumor is that PS PLUS will merge with PS NOW and offer tier-level subscriptions with backward compatibility all the way back to PSX.

They backed off closing it but, will eventually. So, I update all the games I have or will have. I still have my ps1 and 2 but, switched to Xbox right after. This new generation has started so slow, I thought I'd take advantage of the great PS3 library to tide me over. Cheap, too!

I don't understand the hate. TLOU2 nothing short of amazing imo. It was one of those games that I felt a bit empty after having beat it. I didn't want it to be over.

I enjoyed the gameplay and while i had no issues with the plot itself, I didn't like switching between the two characters.

Just finished Days Gone on PC. Incredible looking game with a good story and voice acting. Gameplay is also fun, challenging and adrenaline rushing when facing hordes of the infected.

Going to jump in God of War on PC next.
