‘Gangnam Style’ still rules YouTube

YouTube celebrated the 10th anniversary of its inception on April 23, 2005.

The first video on the site is "Me at the zoo," as uploaded by YouTube founder Jawed Karim, which contains footage of his visit to the San Diego Zoo. Note, however, that it is not the most popular video on the site.

The honor belongs to Korean rapper Psy's "Gangnam Style" video, which has now eked some 2.31 billion views and counting.

I thought cats ruled YT?

Oh yes, it would be hard to....hold on, my cat's attorney is contacting me.

No, no, no....ah, ok, well then. Yeah, got it and ok.

Nope, it is Gangnam Style. And we should all take this time to respect and admire our feline betters.

So, 2.31 billion people have watched Gangnam Style?

I can proudly say I am not one of them, I prefer classics such as this...

You should perhaps consider swallowing that pride for what is actually a really good video.I saw it on Pop-Asia before the song became uber popular and loved it immediately.

I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek, PA - for the purpose of introducing the 'classic' I posted! :P
