Still Waters Posted May 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2015 A man who regularly suffered a blocked nose sneezed out the cause - a toy dart stuck up his nostril for 44 years. Steve Easton, 51, often had a case of the sniffles or a headache and put it down to hay fever. But his nasal passages are now clear for the first time since he was a toddler after one big blow out last week cleared the problem. http://www.telegraph...r-44-years.html
Auntyseptic Posted May 12, 2015 #2 Share Posted May 12, 2015 Reminds me of my first day of school when I pulled a rather large button off my skirt and stuck it up my nose. I think they removed it though.

Auntyseptic Posted May 12, 2015 #6 Share Posted May 12, 2015 The surgeons are going in next week to remove the dartboard. For a laugh they should transplant it onto his face.

Infernal Gnu Posted May 13, 2015 #8 Share Posted May 13, 2015 This is snot funny. What if the expelled dart had killed someone?
AbyssWalker Posted May 13, 2015 #9 Share Posted May 13, 2015 He must be feeling so great right now, kinda like how I felt after my deviated nasal septum surgery. So much more oxygen to breathe! I felt so good.

Robert1 Posted May 13, 2015 #11 Share Posted May 13, 2015 For forty four years, this guy didn't bother to find out what was wrong with him? I would have had it checked out years ago.
acute Posted May 13, 2015 #12 Share Posted May 13, 2015 (edited) "There's a crayon in my brain?" *Homer points to nose* One of my favourite Simpsons episodes! I wonder if this guy has lost any IQ points since the dart was dislodged. Edited May 13, 2015 by Blurfoot

Use your brain Posted May 14, 2015 #14 Share Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) It was the tip of one of the kind of darts I will link you to, so his nose had to have a near 100% blockage for 40 years http://www.amazon.com/Dart-Gun-Toy-Inch/dp/B0090NOI92 Edited May 14, 2015 by Use your brain
Sunny Day Posted May 14, 2015 #15 Share Posted May 14, 2015 I bet he snored like a tractor. I'm wondering why/how a 7 year old would get it up their nose? He was past the toddler stage by then
pallidin Posted May 14, 2015 #16 Share Posted May 14, 2015 Huh. Maybe that would explain his neighbors missing motorcycle as well.
