Guest Posted December 1, 2004 #51 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Some pictures of the protest that someone took. He posted them on a local website. Images of the protest And Whom_God_Loves, I'm really not in the mood to get into the "brainwashing" argument right now. And by the way, what have I lost, exactly? I just posted a Michael Moore article to turn your crank. And it worked like a charm. Thanks!

Whom_God_Loves Posted December 1, 2004 #58 Share Posted December 1, 2004 GO WINGS!!! in light of that, I seen last night, Larionov is holding an All- Star game in Russia soon, Obviously he'll be on the Russian All-star, and then the World team All-stars lineup was mostly Red Wings. I wouldn't mind seeing that.

BurnSide Posted December 1, 2004 #60 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Man, thank god he's gone. I felt dirty just being in the same city as Bush. *shudders* I was a little dissapointed with the rallys. No riots, they were taking down the barricades at 7. The G8 sumbit caused so much disarray, but nothing for Bush coming? Pah! (Just kidding, i don't want to see riots in my city... although i could used a new hi-fi. )
Scorpius Posted December 2, 2004 #61 Share Posted December 2, 2004 Some of Bush's jokes were actually funny. He certainly is "special". Special people need to be applauded and supported whether it be speaking or spelling basic english properly. "I, frankly, felt like the reception we received on the way in from the airport was very warm and hospitable, and I want to thank the Canadian people who came out to wave -- with all five fingers -- for the hospitality," Bush jokingly said. I wonder who made that one up for him. Colin Powell or Condaleeza Rice.

Not a bad crowd at all.

jeceris Posted December 3, 2004 Author #71 Share Posted December 3, 2004 I could not agree more, President Bush should not have gone to Canada. 383502[/snapback] why twpdyp? are we not worthy? last night on the daily show with jon stewart, he played bush's joke, the "five fingers" one, and said for once bush had a good joke, and he was pretty stunned it happened, very funny the way he parodies ti. twpdyp Posted December 3, 2004 #72 Share Posted December 3, 2004 why twpdyp? are we not worthy? No not at all. I mean that his visit caused social unrest people could have been hurt. I am not sure if his visit was as effective because of the unrest it created.
