Being told by a client that they want a certain formula, being asked 3 times if they are sure, then getting an irate phone call an hour later saying that the formula they insisted on getting was the wrong one and it's our fault!!   Not a pleasant way to end the day.

Grrr at a 6-month Christmas!

The Christmas movies start earlier and earlier every year, but showing them from July 1st onwards is puzzling and somewhat infuriating.

I remember they were pushing "Christmas in July" at some point.

It never really took off, but they keep trying.

I think it was supposed to get people to think of Christmas way ahead of time so they would do more shopping or something.

I can understand businesses trying to sell more stuff, but who's gonna watch back-to-back Christmas movies during a summer heatwave?

I must admit I am a fan of early Christmas movie watching, but the end of October is plenty early for me :santa:. Problem is, my 'smart' tv refuses to let me watch them :o! I just can't get the channels  . . . so my GRR is at tvs that are so smart they can censor what you watch :(.

There is a station on Filmrise that plays christmas movies all year long.   My aunt watches the same movie on that channel at least once every two weeks.

Today, my GRR is aimed at shoddy bathroom fittings . Less than a week ago, my fairly large bathroom mirror flung itself off the wall, bounced into the sink and broke into a million pieces . . . at 2 a.m.!!!!

This morning, I got halfway into the shower when I realised that the thermostat had broken and the water was scorching. In my hurry to exit the shower I grabbed one of the sliding doors . . . and it fell off in my hand!!!! Honestly, my life is like a Laurel and Hardy film !

Grrr at flies!

What are they for? What do they do? What's the point?

"The Lord in His wisdom made the fly,

And then forgot to tell us why."

If Burton's "Wagon Wheels" get any smaller, they will have to rebrand them "Matchbox Wheels".

Not only that. They are covered in fake chocolate!

So, this woman I used to hang out with and who I lived next door to for a while just called me out of the blue (can't remember the last time she called me, only that the conversation irked me).   She has been storing stuff in my mobile home since 2006.   I lived in Texas and before 2006, when they were still together, she and her husband broke in to my mobile home to hide some stuff because it would implicate them in something that had already gotten their friend toss in federal prison for.   Did not call me and ask, just broke in.  I happened to come home for a visit and went up to the property to check on things and found bags of documents.   I was on my way back to Texas so I called my brother and asked him to go up when he could and take it all to the dump.   He never got the chance and the next time he did go the bags were gone.    GRRR.

So today's conversation went something like "I have a friend who is 73 and he  has to move because his rent was raised 80%.   I was thinking he could rent your mobile home."   80%!   really, no, 30% maybe but 80%, was he paying 100.00 a month?   I told her "No, the trailer is in not in liveable shape and I don't have time or energy to get it in shape."   Her, "well the guy is healthy, he could do it." (he is 73!)  Me," there is no electricity or running water and I don't have time to stop what I am doing to go up and show him the mess."   a few more back and forth and I raised my voice telling her I have too much going on and I won't rent that mobile home to anyone."  She then says,  "may I ask what is going on with you?"   To which I said "No, I have to get back to work.   I don't have time for this."   She siad "Work?"  and I hung up.   I suppose in her imagination I am independently wealthy and have nothing better to do than to help her and her friends.   She is the one who trashed the mobile home.   GRRRR!

Grrr at people who say they love Bohemian Rhapsody.....

"It's my all time favourite song!"

.....yet, they can't sing it, because they don't know the lyrics.

Grrr at people who approach you with, "Sir, can I ask you something?" And before asking the question give you their whole sorry story of their lives.
