Paranormal Panther Posted December 20, 2015 #226 Share Posted December 20, 2015 Im a nutjob who believes the powers that be aren't elected officials, they are CEO's and their pet lobbyists. We had a 5 star general who was also President of the Unites States tell us that the military industrial complex was taking over our nation 50 years ago and last year Princeton University did an amazing study which shows that we unequivocally live in an oligarchy. Here's a video which sums it up really well : A right wing president and right wing policies mean more income for the military industrial complex , more restrictions on rights and more war means more LEO's/Military/Private contractors/spies and all their assorted tools from clothing all the way up to fighter jets. You're half right. It takes two wings to fly a statist bird. It needs a left one and a right one. Clinton is a hawk just like the neoconservatives.
Paranormal Panther Posted December 20, 2015 #227 Share Posted December 20, 2015 Sorry? Clitnon isn't a war monger? Shall we ask the people of Libya? And who do think was behind the machinations behind the Ukrainian coup and the Syrian "uprising"? The State department, which her fingerprints are all over, regardless of whether her name may currently be on the door or not. And similarly, shall we ask all those who've been on the end the Big O's Surgical Drone Strikes whether in their opinion he's not a warmonger? (he's bombed more countries, hardly any of which America has technically been at war with, than any of his predecessors). Her husband wreaked havoc in the Balkans. Fox News and their news rivals have one thing in common. They love to beat the war drums, and they almost never question the wisdom of any military action. Perhaps a "peacenik" corporation should start a new news outlet.

Paranormalcy Posted December 20, 2015 #229 Share Posted December 20, 2015 "Well see, Lady Clinton, we'll see!" *shakes gloved fist in defiance and rides off * I think they all did pretty well and honestly, this was the most like a debate, because they argued, but it was over real issues and votes and not who can hate other races more. Refreshing opposite of the GOP debates, as usual. Sanders focused in on national security a little more but otherwise he's about as dynamic as granite in his positions, which I love - actual integrity and conviction in what he feels are the right things. Aus Der Box Skeptisch Posted December 20, 2015 #230 Share Posted December 20, 2015 I felt bernie was the better. Hillary kinda scares me. I mean she would make for an adequate war president but i think the way this country needs to start moving was highlighted by bernie sanders.

Yeah, Ted Cruz, in blackface, must have used the "N word" about a dozen times during the Republican debate. Jeb Bush also went on that unfortunate rant about Asian drivers. Then, Ben Carson said that all Latin Americans and Native Americans should be put in concentration camps. It seemed just like a KKK convention.

I don't want a socialist in the White House, but I like the guy in the same way that I like Kucinich. I disagree with much of their politics, but I would be friends with them. Both men seem genuinely honest and sincere, and they really care about Americans. They want to help people. That comes through when they debate and discuss the issues. They actually say what they think, and they seem authentic, not completely constructed by advisors, totally created by marketers, endlessly directed by poll-takers. What you see is what you get. They're like leftist versions of Ron Paul, one of the few politicians who's not a marionette controlled by puppet strings.

Yamato Posted December 20, 2015 #234 Share Posted December 20, 2015 Hillary Clinton is obviously a Shapeshifter. I thought she was a Reptilian, but now I'm not so sure. The way she can morph into different environments is clearly a sign of devil worship. Donald Trump will need a secret weapon other than his money to beat this dangerous Democrat. How about a beautiful, accomplished, liberal (and minority) woman to run for VP on his ticket and try to steal some of the Dread Lady Rodham's thunder? It would be a nice gut punch into the Republican establishment and it could help bring down the Clinton Hilldebeast as well.

I don't really want him for president either but it would be pretty great just knowing that the elites don't own this one,our president, if that's even possible?

I didn't understand Sanders views of how he would deal with the war also. He mentioned that he would form a coalition of Muslim fighters only, fighting for the destruction of isis . It would be great if only they could but, who if any are there, there left to train that are willing to actually do it, and are capable of doing it alone like Sanders suggested? I don't have confidence that they can do it on their own.

Yeah and about national security issues, I couldn't believe how she danced around the fact that the vetting system does not work. Instead she tried to use 9/11 once again, in her favor, and she's lying. Most New Yorker's were not concerned at all about reaching out to people back then after the towers .I remember some organization (muslim) that wanted to actually open a Mosque closely near to where the towers once stood , right after it happened, most New Yorker's absolutely could not accept that reality, especially right after 9/11. She's such a liar. ETA-Trump ought to start reminding her about herself and her lies. Really, I can't stand the woman. After all Trump, she's calling him a bigot, when I think he's only caring about security for our well being. The nerve of her, and at the expense of our safety? I took bernie as saying we alone should not be fighting as the main force but to gather a coalition of other countries that equally participate to end isis. This is a world issue not just americas issue.

In any case, yes,it is a global crises. She'd certainly give us plenty of war. The Kurds and Syrians would seem to be a reasonable basis to make a start. yeah, he said he wants to arm them. American college and high school students have known nothing but war and terrorism since they were babies or toddlers. They also came of age in a time when America transformed into a security state, with attacks on the Constitution that were unthinkable in the '90s. Will today's infants live in a police state after Clinton moves into the White House?

Paranormal Panther Posted December 21, 2015 #247 Share Posted December 21, 2015 And they're busily taking advantage of our impressionable youth and fearful parents one derp at a time. The increased paranoia is largely unwarranted, but it's likely here to stay for the foreseeable future. It's a shame that we can't go back in time to prevent the first Gulf War. I'm being cryptic here so that the thread isn't derailed by debates. On-topic, it would be smart to remember that both Bill and Hillary supported the wars.
