I remember (a few days into Bush preparing to strike Iraq) an interview he had in the White House with women of Iraq who were raped and/or tortured or both and who told the stories of other women being raped continuously by the Iraqi soldiers and even Sadaam's son. As well, their husbands were being killed. Just a few days later, we hit Iraq already knowing that women and children suffer horrendously and the whole country was suffering from oppression, which we as a nation are thoroughly against.

Already you are sighing with, "oh brother". Well, isn't that the problem with today, we don't care for the unseen faces that are suffering at the hands of a dictator. You don't feel the pain. But what you do feel is the sting in your pocket in respect to the money spent by that government to free people from oppression.

Sure, many of these people in Iraq do not appreciate it yet. They aren't educated enough to do so. Not yet anyway. This takes a few generations of Iraqis for the change you looked for to take place overnight. History has dictated this.

I think Bush has a big heart in that respect and it took big balls to do what he did in respect to spending billions because "strangers", not of our nation, faith or creed were suffering at the hands of a dictator.

I am amazed that Bush was able to pull it off in a world that doesn't care for his brother and sister anymore unless, and just maybe, he might happen to be living in the U.S.

As far as the weapons of mass destruction go - they did find them and at the top of the list was Saddam Hussein and the rest of the lesser weapons of mass destruction were all the cards they captured previously and after him.

I never repeat such things on these sites because I find that I just get blasted by the uninformed population. I did this only because you "said" it was a school project and not necessarily used for a forum topic so save your negative comments. In other words, "those that need to comment in a negative fashion here are of the same uncaring individuals".

What gives you the idea that there 'Needs' to be a world police?

I read into it that the writer was stating that we are big brother to many nations, which we are.

I think he's really trying to do the right thing, through alot of adversity and I kinda respect him for that BUT he just doesn't seem that intelligent to be the President of the good old U.S of A.

Kerry won the debate even though Bush was wearing a wire! laugh.gif

Clinton was cool,he played the Sax! cool.gif and helped alot in Ireland, thumbsup.gif

Bush just seems to be at war and panicking about Terrorists all the time! disgust.gif

When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will change - but not while Bush is in office. To quote my 10 year old daughter, she went to vote with me (Kerry) "how about the states that elected Kerry have him and the states that voted for Bush have him" laugh.gif

My opinion of Bush?

He spends too much on social welfare. Spend spend spend. Subsidies and entitlements. Couldn't give us a big enough tax cut, or eliminate the IRS all together. A pawn in the Patriot act game being set up for our facist socialist dictator Hill Clinton.

Other than that, I laugh when anyone calls him stupid. Something about those that don't know what their talking about prove it by saying it the loudest, heh. The animosity is so misplaced, the myopia of the American left is astounding. You never know what you don't know. Most arguments, even some I've seen briefly touched on in this post, are a spin on a lie about a half-truth... but easily consumed by the conditioned masses.

Now Kerry I could go on for pages and days on why he isn't qualified to be a mayor, or janitor and why he should be in jail rotting right now.

Neither of them are the best, 2 party system needs to be broken up, Kerry is the absolute worst possible choice. Bush with a lobotomy would outthink Kerry... in his sleep with mittens, a straight jacket, and a football helmet on.

Any person who violently opposes Bush is deceived, and is not looking at the real picture. These people are probably the same one's who loved the Clinton administration. And I religiously Biased? Is Bush? Those questions are meaningless.

The US is no longer controlled by the presidency. He is the public figure head, who gives the people illusion that they are still controlling the fate of the country. We no longer have such control. The elections are frauds. Just like in china, where they have elections, but the government chooses who you can vote for. The New World order AKA The Illimunati control who runs for office behind the scenes. this time, it was Bush or Kerry, both members of the elite Skull and Bones secret society. They were both essentially the same. Except for one fairly new development. Bush is starting to wake up and smell the propoganda, which is why the powers and heavily biasing the media against him. Infact, i think it's only a matter of time before they assasinate him and blame it on the muslims, just like they did with september 11th.

Don't point your anger towards Bush. Point it towards those who control him. The ones who orchestraded sept 11th in order to destroy our constitution and our rights and freedoms. The ones who label anyone who stands against the government as a terrorist. Do the required studies to expose Bush for what he REALLY is: A pawn on the world's chess board.

You see, the New World Order like to play Good Cop Bad Cop. The United states is Bad cop, while the United Nations is Good Cop. They pit the two seemingly against each other so people get too caught up in the illusioned conflict they don't realize that both are arms of the same torso. Hating Bush is just another way for the New World Order to hide what is really going on from the public eye (Just like Clinton used his wee wee to distract the public and the press from his COUNTLESS violations of human rights in other countries, his unprovoked attacks, and his under the table shady business dealings). But it's getting out of control, and I think they are going to use that to their advantage.

Clinton came out and admitted to lying about a stupid issue, and the american public loved him even more for it. This shows how manipulated by the media we really are.

Bushg doesn't admit to lying about anything, and the american public hate him even more. This shows how controlled and conditioned we really are.

Why do people hate Bush so much? Most people in my country don't even know. They always say, "he's a Moron, and Idiot. He starts wars."

Anyone remember what happened in Bosnia during the Clinto administration? No, of course not. Conditioning conditioning conditioning.

I urge you to uncover the 9/11 truth, and see that it was a planned attack on thge american people, by the american leaders. One so elaborate, and so long in setting up, that bush could not have designed it by himself, or even with the help of others. It was a plan so long running it trancends more than his presidency, and goes back into Bush Sr.'s years, and possibly before than even.

So, if Bush did not design it, than he could not have been the sole person responsible for the Iraqi war. The New World Order used him as the scapegoat though, much to his shugrin. Now the media is against him like no other president before him. Who was truely responsible for the war on Iraq? The masterminds behind sept 11th. No, not the muslims. They are scapegoats too. Much to THEIR shurgin.

Plato said you will never meet a man who knows what he is, because every man is sleeping. America, and the rest of the world, needs to wake up to the attacks on our freedoms by those claiming the name of freedom. We need to remove those in power who abuse it criminally. We need to defend ourselves.

If I may point out, Clinton admitted to lying about sleeping with someone he shouldn't have tongue.gif

Bush doesn't admit to lying about a the reasons to start a war that has cost the US billions, and is still resulting in the deaths of US troops.

As far as my opinion on Bush goes...there's not much that hasn't been said already. While I believe Insight was right about one thing, in that Bush isn't actually running the country (that's like saying the five year old runs the Primary School), he is nevertheless the one signing the lunactic acts, the one pushing his ridiculous goals, and the one who is, ultimately, screwing up the country (and half the world along with it).

Brainless, incompetant, lying, gun-ho, thoughtless, money grubbing, couldn't run an ice cream stand if you gave him a manual, Bush tongue.gif

Yes, the world needs a "big brother" that I agree with...many nations have filled this role over the centuries, what I don't agree with is that America needs to be the "world police". Big difference and there is a line that must not be crossed...which America crossed decades ago.

It's also interesting to notice that the only countries the US chooses to play "Big Brother" for, are either paying them something, or are in some way holding back the spread of socialism. "Big Brother" implies some kind of selflessness that the US has never shown. They function more like a hired mafia heavy.

Joc, whatever world I may or may not live in, at least I look at the actual events that have happened in that world in order to draw my conclusions about it tongue.gif This is something you've failed to do.

Do you still think the US beat the Nazis all on their own, and that the UK was occupied? huh.gif

The people in Europe might not like it but the Us did get involved in WWII and had a major impact. The public in the US did not like it any better, so I am told.

Was England occupied by NAZI's? No

Was England bombed by NAZI's? Yes

The US helped end the gross autrocities the NAZI regime inflicted on the people of Europe but was not responsible for winning the war.

Perhaps if the US had joined earlier, more lives could have been saved.

Yes, and perhaps if they werent bombed...they may not of joined at all....

I could be corrected, but in international events (at least of late) how many countries has the US been "Big brotherly" too that didnt have a regime change associated with it?

Japan....Iraq.....Afghanistan (not sure about that one)

Ones where they have little chance of doing such thnigs seem to slip under the radar... sad.gif

This is a thought, not a fact ...so feel free to point out where Im wrong...

This I do not deny. Of course the US were involved, and of course they made a major contribution....my objection is, however, this ridiculous "you'd be speaking german if it wasn't for us" arguement, that many of our American friends like to feild.

The USSR beat the germans, if anyone can be given a majority of the credit.

But anyway, we digress tongue.gif My point was that at the very least, my opinion of Bush is drawn from what he's done to both the world, and his own country. I look at the situation he's managed to plunge us all into, and conclude he's done a horrible job...a job that he's been entrusted with for another four years, by people who obviously looked at things a great deal less carefully.

The same could be said for the UK, it took us two years to finally get in there.

Anyway what I mean is that actually no-one can pin point blame.

I agree. This is a pathetic and lame excuse and totally disrespectful to the British men and women who fought for their countries freedom. London and other parts of the country were blown to kingdom come in the bombing raids and yet as a nation we never gave up and that is why we don't speak German.

I am digressing so I go back on topic...

I was watching the morning news today and they talked about iraq since america came in. They were interviewing a journalist who had been there and he said that america is actually causing a new generation of terrorists. He said people who were once freedom fighters have now become holy fighters. So instead of fighting for freedom they now fight for Allah. So America is creating a new generation of terrorists in a war that was supposed to stop terrorism.

Good work Bush!
