Ever have Shaved Ice with Soft Serve at the bottom? The melted ice cream with the shaved ice at the bottom rules! Why are they fixing the best part?

They could probably do something similar with guar gum, like Breyer's does. That's all natural, too.

If it makes ice cream more luscious and smooth, as claimed in the article, I am trying it . Also, I am a slow eater , rushing an ice cream is never pleasant experience for me , I am more of an all day sucker kind of girl

When the ice cream has melted a little on the way from the store and then re-frozen, it often has a certain ice quality that I just love. Otherwise nowadays store-bought ice cream is not very good at all and needs help like fruit or nuts or sauces or maybe some hot peach pie.
