lol it has been foretold by many seers, I am not believing in that stuff since if we look at the human history it is nothing out of the ordinary whats happening and how people react, and so it is easy to foretell something vague like brother against brother, BUT using her post to further your personal racist agenda just shows how low the likes of you are. Actually in the bible and also many christian prophecies fortell this so it has nothing to do with islam. But sure blame refugees for all your problems thats how peopel with an IQ of 2 react.

So please, if you havent got anythhing else to say than your hysterical hatespeech and fear mongering thenplease dont post.

Oh - step down off your high horse - and stop with the preaching - you silly little person.

After reading your post - I see who has got the low IQ.

Take your blinkers off - and have a good look at the mess Europe is in. What would your solution be to fix this pitiful and dire problem that the world is now witnessing and having to face ?

Sure they are human beings but not like the rest of us. I see a bunch of men that have so little regard for women and children when the Hungarians started firing the water canons because of their rock throwing they push women and children up in front to make sure they get hurt so they can cry about it later. Sorry but that bunch of men don't sound like much.

That's typical behavior from those type of men. The same type that hide weapons and munitions in hospitals and cry foul when those hospitals are targeted....

Hypocritical of her too, since she's laid some hate-speech and fear-mongering on me recently. And now she's asking people that have a differing opinion to not post. Wonder if she understands the concept of free speech?

Most likely not.

Blinders are a good description of what's happening. Apologists intentionally blinding themselves to the problem that are created.

The solution would be to take in as many refugees as we can, as has been done in the past. The whole ''muslims = terrorists'' hysteria must be set aside so that we can start acting rationally again and manage this crisis effectively. I hope my Canadian country will do more than it's fair share. We used to be leaders on that front.

Of course we are facing a crisis that could have been prevented. The West has invaded Iraq and thus created a breeding ground for Al-Qaeda a.k.a ISIS. It funded and armed rebel groups in Syria to further it's agenda of distabilizing the country and removing the Assad regime. Imperalist policies in the M.E have had dire repercussions and we now pay the price with a flood of peope who wish to escape these very countries. It's much easier to lay blame on them than take a cold, hard look at our own actions though, isn't it?

My solution won't appease everyone or neither it's humane. Let this migrants be tagged and flown back to Syria /iraq they need to rebuild their nation again and material help be provided some free and some as low interest loans . It depends wether a decade later you want a middle east in Europe or a Europe in middle east.

I agree - but there still needs to be a 'ceiling cap' on numbers.

If Saudi Arabia and Russia helped by taking some of the slack by opening their doors to these displaced people - things might settle down a bit. It seems these countries are happy to help with aide. But these people are not welcome onto their soil ? It's not as though they don't have the space to accomodate.

Well I'm personally not suffering any hysteria. But I and many others are very concerned about how many possible Islamic terrorists and extremists are hiding amongst the genuine refugees - pretending to be one of them.

It is easy to get lost in a sea of faces amongst chaos and confusion.

Under these type of circumstances Phenix - I feel that peoples concerns are indeed rational.

Turkey, Jordan, Lebannon, Egypt, UAE and Iraq have played their part by taking in millions of Syrian refugees already. I don't think we can count on the Gulf states and I wouldn't rely on them. These refugees are at our doorsteps anyway so either we welcome them or we let them languish at EU borders to meet uncertain faith.

The problem is that this is used as a pretext for doing nothing. Fearmongering isn't helping anyone either.

Thanks for those links -

a quote I pulled from one -

Russia is preparing to accept a number of Syrian refugees - mainly middle class people fleeing war and terrorism, and seeking a peaceful existence in a stable environment, according to the Kremlin.

They are being selective by taking middle class people only - I wonder how many there will be amongst the lower class who have nothing but their shirts on their back ?

What happens to them ?

You have ommited part of his quote I think:

Astakhov stated, “Today we have another category of refugees. It is mainly people with middle incomes who are primarily seeking peace. You need certain labor and education conditions, and here the European governments must make an effort.”

See: http://russia-inside...refugees/ri9825

His point is that most Syrian refugees are not necesserely poor, uneducated people but actually enjoyed decent lives in their country before it became a war zone.

You have missed a part of his quote I think:

Today we have a different category of refugees, they are not desperate, starving, poor and unemployed people. No, they are mostly people with average income who primarily seek peace. They need conditions for work and education and European governments must apply effort to this,” Astakhov told journalists. “We also could carry out such program or render help if there is a desire for this,” he added.''

See: https://www.rt.com/p...-accept-syrian/

His point is that most refugees are not poor, uneducated people but actually enjoyed decent lives in their country before it became a war zone to be fled.

Well - we'll just have to wait and see.

well you should have read correctly what hellwyr was referring to . it was due to a post that i had made . before telling people to get of their high horse one should maybe get off the cloud that they are floating on themselves . At least hellwyr came up with good points ( along with another great poster , am a big fan yes :tu: ) instead of some people going around talking in circles . if everyone is sooo concerned why not put their heads together and use all that energy to find a solution for their countries . its starts small ... talking is easy doing requires action ...

Yup I agree that's why I mentioned it's not humane. As it brings tear to your eyes similar it makes someones blood boil to see illegal migrants entering their country and their government spending their taxes on them. It's just pperspective. It's decent of you not to wish ill to me. What I meant by tagged is take their finger prints or document them that don't take advantages twice. Theirs a war torn country but someone should rebuild it right?

You are correct, talking is easy but I believe we are now seeing a push towards actions from western nations. In my opinion I feel the UK government is on the right track, we have HMS Enterprise off the coast of Libya who only just yesterday saved the lives of 377 migrants/refugees. HMS Bulwark has also been operating off the coast of Libya earlier in the year, the Royal Navy has helped save the lives of 4,000 under this EU operation.

The question could be asked does the European navies helping migrants who try to cross the Mediterranean encourage even more to take the perilous journey? I believe it does but the UK government has announced that it is sending HMS Richmond to the area to take part in a more "Aggressive phase" of this European operation. The operation will see our warship target the smugglers and seize boats they are using.

I believe we could do more in this area and by we I mean the UN, there should be a "Green zone" set up in Libya in which migrants/refugees coming from sub Saharan Africa are taking, they are to be housed in camps and processed and registered. The real refugees fleeing are then considered by Europe for asylum under a finite quota system and if granted are safely escorted to there new home in one of our European countries. The ones that are trying to get to Europe for economic reasons are to be sent back to the country of origin. Special forces and intelligence agencies are to operate along the coast to wade out any smuggler's.

On to the Eastern Mediterranean and David Cameron was at one of the refugee camps in Lebanon earlier this week in which the UK has spent £1Billion to support the Lebanese government. He has also pledged another £100Million in support. I believe Britain has taking the right approach here in saying we will only take refugees from the camps inside Lebanon, Jordan, and Turkey.

Angela Merkel has opened the floodgates by her comments last week along with Sweden in which they would take in anyone who could reach their borders. This was the wrong approach as it will only serve for more migrants/refugees to cross dangerous waters and risk their lives. As shown it is causing tensions and strain on the Balkan nations with thousands of migrants/refugees moving up through Greece.

In my opinion this needs to stop now, with co-operation from Greece, Turkey and European navies, the coast guards are to stop and return all boats trying to get across to Lesbos etc. The migrants are to be returned to the UN camps and as the same with Libya they are to be processed and registered. True refugees again are sent to Europe under a finite quota system. We cannot allow the majority of refugees to just flow to Europe we need them to stay near their own country. I see a lot of interviews on the news of people coming to Europe who say they are teachers, dentists, engineers, well I'm sorry you people are going to be the backbone of rebuilding your country you are a major component to get your country back on its feet once war is over. They need to stay near the country of origin its as simple as that. Do you really think they will return to Syria once they have lived and settled in a European country for a year or so? I think not.

In regards to a military or political solution to Syria and Iraq, the US and Russia finally seem to be putting their heads together. Whether the West like it or not Assad is an evil necessity and is pivotal in this to work. He needs to remain in power and a moderate opposition formed as a political opponent. Russia/SAA the US/UK work to wade out ISIS from Syria and Iraq. The Russians are already deploying small numbers of units in Syria and these could be key! They could be the boots on the ground, a solid well trained military to support the SAA and defeat ISIS.

From Day one the policy should have been to Stop all migrant boats and return the lot of them to the shores of from which they left. - Having no choice to reach Europe they'd have turned towards their neighbours and found refugee with their fellow kind. Lets cut to the chase, They have more in common in every aspect with their fellow Arab and Moslem Brothers than they do with Western Countries. Why and how we've allowed ourselves to be lumbered with such a problem, While the Gulf states, the Arab League just **** on their hands quite happy to let Europe deal with the problem. while europe goes down the pan, their building castles in the sand.

To be honest YA AMAR, stevewinn has a point when it comes to the Gulf states and the Arab league.

So much more could have been done and I will include Iran in this to diffuse this situation. The Gulf states should be taking a lot more of the refugees and supporting some sort of peace process instead of fighting a proxy war in Syria. Europe and the US have made mistakes in the ME but we aren't solely responsible for all of the refugees. Saudi should know better, if it wishes to be a major power in the ME and show the world what it's made of, it should make more of an effort In the humanitarian aspects of the Syrian situation.

i try to answer to the best of my ability . we are all aware that all countries do their absolute best to help to the best of their ability . i am afraid my english wont suffice to what i wish to say . i agree 100 % that its all about the refugees and coming to their aid . There are many who jump to the opportunity in seeking a better life in europe, many here from the country i live in . i could try to explain myself but it would be way too much but these people dont do well in their own country much less in any other country and will only be the scum that they are while they was in their own country . But in a small defense , europeans that come here has made it way to easy for those opportunity seekers and that is a subject on its own . it is very hard to distinguish who is a true refugee and who is not . and i agree the refugees should be housed as guest as long as they need to but once the situation clears it is right and fair to send them back . A big problem i see is that many will try to marry under false pretense to guarantee their golden ticket into europe , it will happen i am sure . But then its up to each government to prohibit such acts and i see this will be very hard to monitor and i agree that alone will cause biiiiiig problems . As for there being doctors and teachers etc etc i think it shouldnt matter ..i could be the king but once things jump off a title will not save anyone from becoming a refugee . you address a few political problems and i can only say to this point everything will go in little steps . i do understand the worries of each and one of you and so many things are valid but the fact remains that these people are standing in front of the door ... again for the record , yes they should be helped in anyway possible but when time comes they should be send back no doubt . and i am sure the true refugees will do so

How about this, Why are the Arab states not creating jobs and giving benefits to the Syrian refugees? - No your happy just like the Arab states to let Europe deal with it. and when Europeans are questioning you have the audacity to say open up our hearts and charity. the damn cheek of it the British people have given over one Billion pounds to the UN camps.

I've got to the point now, or the realisation this whole thing is turning into one massive p*** take. There are at least 16 safe Arab league countries who between them could take 10million refugees. and yet not one of them has taken anyone. open up their hearts. p*** off.

imho stevewinn in almost most his post has rather radical views but i try to ignore as much as i can . he has right to his views however . i totally agree with you ... and you are absolutely correct !!!! the Saudi issue mmhh well ... what do you think that we the rest of us, how we look to Saudi ??? in my personal view of them , i can only say and i speak for many of us they are the lowest in my eyes . and i speak not in general about all Saudies dont misunderstand but a particular system here . Yes the US along with other nationsmade many mistakes but people dont realize why The Saudies behave they way they do and who is in alliance with the Saudies and do you know what goes on behind the curtains ??? i could name a few examples of wrong things that are happening but is not part of the issue here ...

you know why i liked your post ??? absolutely , why dont they create jobs ????? if i have the time or let me say the patience to write about that i should make a different thread . do any of you know how we are held down ? how our system works here ? why no one looks deeper into it . and now we talk about what islam teaches us and what power is working against islam let's look at corrupt leaderships and who they do business with ... so many jobs in this country alone could be created but people are held down . a man works for 150 euros a month if that to support his family thats if he is lucky to even have a job ... we need to look much deeper into it while islam teaches us to be correct people leaders are being corrupt which leads to the corruption of its own people .
