taniwha Posted September 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted September 28, 2015 Its a bird...its a plane...its ...Golden Bolt!... A true inspiration. After 105-year-old Japanese runner Hidekichi Miyazaki set the record as the oldest competitive sprinter in history, he told reporters he was disappointed. "Im not happy with the time," Miyazaki said, after completing his 100 meter heat in 42.22 seconds. "I started shedding tears during the race because I was going so slowly. Perhaps I’m getting old!" http://magazine.good.is/articles/105-year-old-sprinter-set-world-record Blink and you'll miss it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJw6damNelo
Nnicolette Posted September 28, 2015 #2 Share Posted September 28, 2015 Well it is amazing to be breaking records running at 105. Then article states that this is the record for a person over 100, and it became slightly less impressive.
