Wasn't that exactly to fight for the rights and freedoms of others? So, what happened? I seem to recal a big stink when HR347 was enacted but not when Obama expanded on it. No one cares really , that we the arabs the normal arbs have fear too . it's like ppl dont listen WE ARE HUMAN WiTH NORMAL LiVES ...to some ppl we should not exist should be wiped of the earth ...i have heard ppl say on this forum if the ovens were still hot ... i hear things here very hurtful . We have emotions too and we fear isis just like all others they kill us too you know ... i cant be open like all of you here and i wont be ...even though i would consider it my right but for me it is different . Someone here said it's not the woman but her people , well i am her people and my family friends and neighbors ...nobody really cares what is happening here in our countries they just look for every little crumbs to pick up and say see the dirt ? if i was to pick other countries dirt i could go on and on too . i am tired too the media calls them all muslims and they are not ... i speak for my country , not all arabs are muslims and they curse god and the prophet and no one gets murdered we have all kinds of ppl here and they dont get murdered ... we have good and bad like any other country ... i hope he gets to be president as he seems to have the know how that no one else seemed to have in recent years . He should also stop people from getting our oil and our countries and our wealthy business people he should leave them alone too .... when he gets to be president he will know what to do to set america free ... if i had a magic wand i would make all muslims disappear and you would finally realize that there is no peace because there will always be someone to be picked on . i look at my country men and i had a much better live then many of them but i would never trade again because i am more happy here but they dont know as they only see you and your world through tv ... wearing uncle sam t-shirts and cheap sun glasses trying to pretend they live like you guys in the west . you only know us through media but not personal ... we are not perfect by far but i enjoy my little life here ... we are just normal people - human ....and now excuse my rant but i am very emotional about this subject YA AMAR I don't consider your words a rant and they are very nicely articulated. What you have said indicates the irony in what occurs when idiots and fools are allowed to go amuck. As Americans we are for the most part good hearted people but have a lot to protect as you have mentioned yourself. We have a lot to lose not only us but the world as a whole can't afford to lose. Good people have to pay for the sins and crimes of bad ones so everyone loses, even us because the barbarian ultimately causes others to resort to barbarism to survive. My anger is directed at those that declared themselves god, not you...I wish you and all the others that resent these terrible atrocities all the best. Christianity went through this and countless atrocities were committed in the name of Christ, and this was man's fault not the teachings of Christ. It was corrected by the church and I wish that Islam could go their own reformation and fix it by Muslems, not any other influence. That is the reason why government should fear the people, not the people fear the government. YA AMAR this we are talking about and I think you will agree is a complicated mess. And there is blame to go around for everyone, not just the Muslem community. Someone said 'never let a crisis go without making good use of it' and I'm paraphrasing. This issue is being utilized by outside entities neither Muslem or Christian for an agenda and I feel are fanning the flames. The only thing we can do now, is concentrate on a reasonable measure of safety...like Trump has indicated to 'find out what is going on', and then try to fix it. We could talk for hours on this and believe me many, many other people understand this..it is nothing personal. Someone has to pull this plane into level flight and get control to move on fixing the problems. It is time for all Americans, not just European Americans, or just christians but all Americans to stick together and identify who the true enemy is and concentrate there.
