Muslim woman thrown out of Trump rally

What do you want to call it...a meeting? No, people are not allowed to stand up and say anything they like or people would not get thrown out of almost all of them.

Again...I could show you any number of photos of rallies where people are standing up and shouting, and they are not thrown out because they are in support of what Trump is saying. All the woman did was stand...in the back...silently. Tossing her out just solidifies everything that people already believe about Trump and his supporters. He is spreading hate and he deserves to be called on it. The response of the crowd shows just how much influence he has and how hateful they could be to someone just for showing that Muslims can be peaceful.

Why doesn't she use some of that enthusiasm and energy protesting against 'radical Islam?' When you come to this country you know the rules..we have a constitution and we have a culture. Accept it or stay home. Ben Carson got it right, Islam is a theocracy...in direct conflict with our rules. These people are invading, not assimilating. These people 'protecting' the 'so called rights' of Muslims don't give a tinker's dam about their rights. There is another agenda...and I think finally some people are coming out of a deep sleep.

seax :tu:

Interesting how we have a Constitution, but somehow she doesn't. How do you know she isn't an American citizen?

A 56-year-old Muslim American woman

Part of our rights (and hers) are free speech, freedom of expression, freedom of assembly, freedom to protest at public events. Especially, freedom to protest against candidates who might be trying to take away freedoms. She had every right, and no she doesn't have to stay home.

All this man did was hold up a sign at the Clinton rally.

And I'm sure Republicans went ape-s*** about it. And that sign was actually negative towards Clinton. All this shirt said was Salam, I come in peace. And you're defending throwing her out.

That guy was actually standing up front holding up a huge sign, and people couldn't see. He was also trying to obstruct cameras that were filming the speech.

I'm not defending throwing her out. You've just got your panties in a bunch because of one case where Mulims got thrown out as opposed to all of the other people who get thrown out at every other rally.

The one I posted wasn't even reported by the MSM. That was a local station.

You have absolutely been defending it. And your candidate even throws out news anchors for asking uncomfortable questions.

Trump is "my candidate" because I don't think he needs to drawn and quarted for his security taking out someone they deemed to be a disruption?

You're one of those "us" and "them" people I mentioned in another thread.

This is the headline :

Rose Hamid Is Another Terrorist Supporting Muslim Masquerading As A Good American

http://shoebat.com/2016/01/09/90806/

and this is the video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oj0y9CDTezA

This is obviously a Christian site that loves spreading propaganda about Muslims. Giving to a Muslim charity does not make one a terrorist.

If this was really a publicity stunt to make Trump look bad, then he could have avoided looking bad by simply not throwing her out.

Trump is "my candidate" because I don't think he needs to drawn and quarted for his security taking out someone they deemed to be a disruption?

You have defended him on numerous occasions, when there have been no excuses for his horrible behavior. It seemed to me that you were a Trump supporter.

Not quite true. There are some Islamic theocracies, but there are millions of Muslims living peacefully and contentedly in secular (or non-Islamic theocratical) nations all around the world. Islam is an ideology, not a theocracy.

Quote me or back off. Oh wait, you think I have defended him on this when I've just given examples of it happeing at all of the rallies...never mind.

And it was wrong to eject him from the rally also. Just because people at a Democratic rally were in the wrong doesn't give people at a Republican rally a "free pass" to commit the same wrong.

Unless you think that tit-for-tat is fully justified in a modern, liberty-promoting and responsible society?

No. I'm saying it happens. There is no indication Trump even knew what was going on. Blaming him is ridiculous. When people got thrown out of a concert for various reasons you don't blame the band.

It happened on his watch after he has spouted various hateful rhetoric aimed at Muslims. I've yet to read that he has apologised to the woman for the violation of her right to peaceful protest and so, as far as I am concerned he - being the proprietor/organiser of the rally - is in fact "to blame" and holds responsibility for the events of the rally.

Just as I would hold Clinton to blame for the ejection of the peaceful protester you pointed out had their right violated.

By not apologising, both candidates have tacitly agreed there is no right to peaceful protest at a public gathering, and no right to the peaceful freedom of speech/expression. Both of them are eroding the laws and rights that define your society.

No one has the right to protest inside a political rally. That is why they developed zones outside, away from the events. That includes wearing a t-shirt endorsing another candidate.

Every one has the right to protest whenever and wherever they like, above all if it is a non-violent and silent protest. This whole incident only shows the hypocrisy of Trump voters, they only are looking for a scapegoat for their own shortcomings.

Who was doing that? I haven't heard of any candidate standing for party nomination named "Salaam", have you?

I would suggest the Muslim woman was protesting, but it was done in the most indirect and inoffensive way possible. She caused no disruption until the security people took the choice to eject her, so who caused any disruption to the rally?

And yes, you can protest inside a political rally - there is no law forbidding that. The laws in place prohibit disrupting such gatherings and protests are often noisy meaning those who have come to hear the speakers often cannot - so that is why they have "protest zones", for the noisy protesters.

To put it a little more clearly, there is a good possibility you will be escorted out of Clinton rally for wearing a Trump t-shirt. Nowhere did I say she was wearing anything in particular...it was an example. It is to cause a disruption without saying a word.

Seems to me like people are getting upset over this because she was Muslim, not because of what happened.

People shouldn't getting treated differently because of their beliefs, everyone should get treated equal correct?

Still waiting on someone to show me the thread arguing against this.

Here is one for you. There are plenty more.

This man was violently beaten and thrown out during a Clinton speech for a silent protest.

Looks like this lady had it easy compared to him.

http://www.democracy...mcgovern_beaten

This week, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton gave a major address calling for internet freedom around the world. As Clinton condemned the Egyptian and Iranian governments for arresting and beating protesters, former U.S. Army and CIA officer Ray McGovern was violently ejected from the audience and arrested after he stood up and turned his back in a silent protest of America’s foreign policy. Ray McGovern joins us from Washington, D.C. [includes rush transcript]

Can you hand pick with 100% accuracy which ones will come here? You are missing the point, the ones that cut off peoples heads, assassinate police officers are the ones that live by Sharia Law and call for death to America. Can you sit in a chair at Ellis Island and hand pick those out of a crowd?

My point is that if she wasn't a Muslim, this wouldn't have even been an issue.

It really wasn't even a bad incident, she wasn't even hurt.

Completely irrelevant to the claim you endorsed and which I rebutted. Islam is not a "theocracy", it is an ideology. If you don't understand or appreciate the difference than you have no authority to make or endorse any claims regarding what is either.
