The Internet giant has added a rather unusual clause to the small print of one its latest products.

In a peculiar move that hopefully doesn't mean that Amazon knows something that we don't, the company has decided that adding an exemption clause to cover the possibility of a zombie apocalypse is a necessary step during the release of its new game engine software.

Is that a legitimite clause that the Amazon board really felt needed to be covered and included in they're contracts or a cynical but amusing inclusion to generarate some airtime?

Im guessing they did it for a joke. Ive seen large companies do things like this before. On a smaller scale but kind of like when filling out my contract for virgin mobile and one of the legitiment questions were 'are you a ninja or a pirate'? Obviously the answer was pirate lol gotta love Richard Branson.

You would think that the CDC, Amazon, Google, etc... wouldn't be wasting their time and resources on stuff like this especially if its just a "joke". We saw what happened when the last time a "joke" like this was aired on the radio with War of the Worlds. Find your cures, ship your packages and collect your data but it's irresponsible if its a "joke" and it's really creepy if there's any truth be it biological or what...
