And what do they think is the connection between the beetles and the end of the world? are the beetles going to grow and start eating every living thing on this planet and then eat the planet after before flying off into the universe? My first thought was that humans should figure out how to make the beetles edible. If that's not possible, aquaculture food is an excellent use for the suddenly overabundant resource.
