Blue Star Posted December 29, 2017 #791 Share Posted December 29, 2017 The first time I tasted scrumpy, I was so dissappointed. Scrumpy sounds like a feisty, fizzy form of Cidar/Cider but with more of a scrunch for your punch, if you get my drift...but no, it was a weak, flat, old mans pint of p!!s. Put me right off, not tried it since....did I just get a bad one???

Put me right off, not tried it since....did I just get a bad one??? Judging by what I've heard about it the bottled stuff is as boring as most ciders but the real scrumpy fermented by your farmers (somewhere in England) gets you pretty high with no hangover. I've also heard that some of the pubs where it's made locally have banned it because it tends to cause brawls. Gosh I would really like to try some of that stuff
Blue Star Posted December 29, 2017 #796 Share Posted December 29, 2017 If you try it first, I may give it another go...but no fisty cuffs, unless its more cowardly lion "purrt um uerp", then pop eye..."yack, yack".
