When the Harpy gets packed out- remember, only 20 goes allowed on board- several punters go out to graise along the river bank.  Unless the courageous bod braves the upper deck.

There you go squire, one pint of Diesel.  How about a bag of crisps or maybe a sausage roll?

Wow... That all looks tasty... The Brits know beers well... The Frogs? They're amateurs... The Belgians look like experts too.

I like non-bitter awesomely flavoured & sour beers.

Well, we have awesome alcoholic beverages in France but French beers have nothing outstanding.

Here's a genuinely French cider for you (I don't even need to translate, except: "inédit" = "which hasn't been seen yet"):

Well you'll be on your own if you try that.  No, wait a minute - you might find a few meth drinkers with happy bloodshot eyes, smiling at you.

Check out Post #1812, Bob.  We're on a boat now.

Pearl of Cider!  In a wine glass, ged on the bus, go on! * Points to the door *

In my bar mate you get it in a pint pot!  And it's not that watered down gubbins either.  On my boat it's 8.5% proof.  That'll blow the back of your shirt up, I can tell yer.

Yes we'll I've erected some makeshift bus stop posts along the river bank.  You could say that the Singing Harpy is a floatable version of public transport where you get taken further down stream whilst enjoying a hard earned tipple.  Now if you stay onboard for 40minutes, you'll find yourself back where you got on - happy days.

I'm drinking mint herbal tea.

Unfortunately, there's no potable water nearby so I boiled gin instead.

Is corrugated cardboard one of the blokes talking points? If so I would like to liven up the event with crackers and a crab pate that contains wizzo butter as the main ingrediant.
