What is described in the article seems to involve things like empathy and intuition. What psychic abilities have been proven, Kathleen?

That would seem to be a rather obvious pre-requisite for analysing who has more of the claimed 'powers'.. In this case, the cart doesn't even have a horse..

Unbeknownst to most people our minds process all sorts of information subconsciously. Very quickly all kinds of minute information can be processed and put together with other information (including instincts) leading us to arrive at conclusions that (apparently) we could not have come to. Some people are just very good at doing this, IMO these are the folks that others call "psychic". Just my opinion here.
