I wouldnt be surprised if her claim turns out to be true, the way he talks about women seems to support her case. On the other hand I wouldnt be surprised if the claim turns out to be false and it was only to get money.

Daughter of the Nine Moons

I edited the title as it is only an accusation and not proven.

Your hatred of him really makes you instinctively believe any libel anyone comes up with, doesn't it.

I wrote I wouldn't be surprised (I didnt write I am convinced he commited rape), because rape is about power, the culprit, who has low selfesteem and is full of hate wants to opress and destroy/break someone. It gives the culprit the feeling of power and control. I think Trump would fit into that category, but we will see how it turns out.

Not like similar accusations did not happen previously... Trump and rape gives (and gave before he started running) quite a google list. But I guess that if you want to make America great again that does not matter so much

It's just odd that these 1994 'charges' are brought up now. Twenty two years is a long time to debate on whether or not to 'sue'.

Honestly.. I wouldn't be surprised if it were true or false. I'm really not surprised by much out of this race in general. I may feel other things, but surprise wouldn't be it.

Interesting, the alleged victim wants 100 million dollars and waited over 20 years to bring this to court. Something is just not quite right here.

To be fair, rape victims are often embarrassed to talk about their horrible experience due to many factors, one for example is the perception of sexuality in society and victim-shaming. It is not unheard of that people talk about abuse 20 or 30 years after the incident. So it is nothing out of the ordinary.

IF true won't mean a thing to his dyed in the wool supporters.

If not true, than someone is getting desperate. The ultimate extermis act - calling him a paedophile will come next.

Didn't the same thing happen to Herman Cain? This all sounds too familiar.

As much as I dislike Trump, this kind of thing happens often when someone is running for office. It COULD be true, but IMO she is just looking for money and trying to derail his bid for the nomination. He doesn't need any help with that, he's doing a great job of it all by himself! :D

I don't know, I swear Trump supporters would vote for him even if he had a collection of severed heads in his closet.

Well, to be fair, he keeps them in a gilded wardrobe.

Yes because if a billionaire wants to get laid, he has to resort to rape. Its like he has never had an incredibly attractive wife...

This actually brings up a very good point... a man as rich as Trump would have had plenty of willing attractive women in pursuit of his attentions.

Rape isn't something for the poor and ugly. There are people that are both rich and attractive that commit rape. They do it for the same reasons that the poor and ugly do.

Someone with his money does not need to rape anyone.

( not that anyone does )

The connection to Epstein practically does this already. Bill Clinton and Alan Dershowitz have both been tarred with that brush.

You dont understand that rape isnt the same as sex , the point of rape is to humilate someone and break that person, it is sexualized violence. There is bondage, but bondage is not the same as rape and consists of rules, which the people involved follow, Also rape is even more attractive for a rich psycho since, money protects you to some extent from the law, you can buy almost anything so you are prone to new thrills and it makes it easy to lure people in, girls for example. If you think all rapist are people who didnt get enough sex, I must tell you you can mastrubate or watch porn if you are poor, you do mnot have to assault the next woman you see.

I would not know the point of rape.

And, I am pretty sure where prostitution is legal, rape happens less. ( not researching it, just seem to remember hearing it. And, lived in Nevada 43 years )

Edit :

Ah Hell......

When Rhode Island accidentally legalized prostitution, rape decreased sharply

I am pro prostitution, but in connection with protection of prostitutes and an open debate about sexuality. The problem is that the worth of women are tied to their sexuality and prostitutes are perceived as unhonorable, which makes the legalisation problematic. Also I bet that the rape of prostitutes is a lot more unlikly to be reported and I can imagine that the police wouldn't take such a report seriously due to social facts. Therefore I am sceptical. Another question is whether there were different changes/ factors in Idaho which could have played their part. Lastly I do not see how this statistic proofs that rape is the same as sex, however I aknowledge that some cases might be caused by a lack of sexual activity. But the lack of activity alone isn't enough to explain such behaviour in those cases. However, it could be explained if we take a look at the role of men and women in society; a man should have many women and be sexual active, thats the picture the society/ media portrays, while women should not. (do you see the imbalance) Owed to those roles, some of those sexual inactive men might feel powerless and "unmanly", which in return could be a motivation to commit such a crime.

However a normal healthy person wouldn't rape anyone in either situation, with or without prostitutes.
