Trump did it, it's over

It's unfortunate that you used a nickname, for cancer, to describe him. ;) You know, I bet that the Big C would accept the nomination in less time than it takes for him to finish off a stack of John Kasich pancakes.

Haha - lol. Whoops! Well actually I was only thinking about his large frame when I said that, but lol - yeah, the irony on so many levels. You got me there. And yeah, I suspect he would too, accept the nomination.

BTW, PP, your humor and posting style reminds of someone I knew on a game forum sometime back. Lol. If I didn't know better, I'd swear you're that same guy. But it's just coincidence, right? Ever used a skull and crossbones for an avi? :D

Tickled? No way. I never get star struck. I am excited the main event is about here though. We're never going to all have a policy maker we can all agree with and things have been just awful the last decade with Washington and if we can't look forward to a satisfactory "professional" kind of president we at least can look forward to a crushing blow to the PC left and the establishment right who needs smacked around. Trump is exciting but being tickled is for little girls and Chris Mathews listening to Obama speeches.

Tickled, thrilled, delighted, excited, amused...whatever you are exuding. Star struck is something I've never associated with that term.

Tomorrow will be an interesting day on Wall Street and for the GOP's Never Trump coalition who must look in the mirror and decide if Hillary Clinton's worth investing in. Which of course she is. My God, she's God's Gift to Corporate America.

If Trump's entire economic plan was: Lower Taxes. But he's sticking his grubby nubbies into so many holes thinking that he's smarter than all of us, he's going to be catastrophic for freedom and markets. A big market correction will occur in November 2016 if Trump wins. The smart money will be gone and the dumb money will be left holding the bag. Just like every other time, ever. They won't get truly hit until the Trumponomics leaves a trail of destruction in trade and consumption.

He has been quite the lackey lately. Attorney General maybe? We found out one thousand times per debate that Christie was a prosecutor after all.

At least, he never mentioned 9/11 to score political points. Oh, wait.

It's not me; I swear! I don't play computer or video games, and I'm quite ignorant on those kinds of things. I'm a borderline Mennonite. I don't even look at my cell phone.

Mark Salter, a former aide to John McCain, did just that. He also just did that, which made your point hit the bullseye. Granted, McCain is a charter member of both the Establishment Party and the War Coalition, but you deserved credit for your prescience. I saw no comments from Lindsey Graham's "aide", though.

Well yeah I didn't think so ( I knew it was a long shot), but one never knows. Lol. Maybe you were both born under the same star or something. Anyway, I was just wondering out of curiosity.

Getting back on topic:

I'm wondering if that Trump University lawsuit is going to hurt him in some major way. I mean you can bet the Hillery campaign is going to use that one against him big time for sure. But I think the Trumpster just might have an ace card up his sleeve to somehow turn that around and make it fall by the political wayside.

WOW!!! I’m shocked and relieved at the same time. Tonight is one of those “you’ll remember where you where when it happened” moments.

Who wants to bet that he still won't be the nominee and Cruz will be the winner of the convention in July?

There’s now no chance of a contested convention. The latest estimate puts Trump around 1300 delegates. We still need to go through the remaining Primaries. I have a feeling we may see record turn out in the remaining states. That will put the exclamation point on the entire process. My state hasn’t voted yet and I’m more jazzed to still go vote and add my voice to the movement. Tonight just unleashed the flood waters. People are going to start jumping on the bandwagon now. Trump’s win tonight may just help Sanders.

Good lord. I'm almost afraid of Cruz (Christian wackjob) as much as I am Trump. Either one gets elected we are in serious poop as a country

We’ve been there the last 7 ½ years now. To be honest, anything else going in any other direction will be better for this nation. Hilary is just more of the same. But to be fair if going with Trump means that this nation is in serious poop, then at least we do so united as a nation instead of being dragged down on the whims of a narcissistic socialist.

Can't be much worse than Obama, probably the Worst US president in my lifetime even worse than Bush.

Bush was much better than Obama. Bush was just a mediocre President but he did the best he could with what he had and did a good job considering. That’s a lot of brownie points in my book. If one falls flat on their face, they are still moving forward. At least Bush tried to do right. Carter was the worse President in history and Obama beats that.

Let's face it, every attempt to defame Trump has just given him more votes. If the GOP push him out the backlash will be pretty spectacular.

That’s one talent Trump has. If you try to attack him, the attacker blows up. He will utterly destroy the Democrats that try to go up against him just as he’s dismantled the GOP. If I were other nations right now, I’d be $-hitting my pants. Trump will secure the respect that we have lost in the world. At some point, he is going to make Hilary cry and when he does that, it will be all but over as his last obstacle.

Looking at the remaining states and the delegate count I think it's time everybody who said, with adamance mind you, that Trump wasn't a serious candidate, wouldn't recover from this or that, that he wouldn't make it to the primaries, would make it through the primaries, wouldn't secure the nomination, wouldn't pull more than 30% republican support especially as the field narrowed (remember when you said 30% was his peak) ect... Well it's time you humble yourselves at least on this front. He's going to soar past 1237 and there won't be a convention. There's no way. The guy came in in center stage and never moved. He's now at a national at 49% and climbing every week. The point is that you were wrong about everything so far. Are you sure you want to place bets on the general election now? Everything you've said has turned out opposite. You may disagree with his ways but he talked a big game and so far has backed it up with seeming ease. He deserves credit for that. Trump vs Clinton coming up!

This is a total mis-characterization regarding most people position on Trump. It was always accepted by most of us that Trump could get the Republican nomination. What has never been accepted and still is true, that he cannot get the Presidency because he has alienated far to many key demographics. Congratulations - you lost the election.

So it's automatic that he's the Republican nominee?

There's no chance of politicking crowning Crud?

I'd like to present a tribute video to John Kasich. Thank you John for assuring us you wouldn't quit until someone got to 1237.

You keep saying this, but who do you think could possibly have challenged H. Clinton on the Republican side? Who could have persuaded all the gullible crowds who vote for H. Clinton because she's a Woman and she doesn't hate Mexicans? You're not going to say Kasich are you, who still no one has heard of. Edited by Otto von Pickelhaube

Let's just skip this election and go 4 years without president, it's better than the options we're getting.

Who said most people? Always spouting an extreme spin. I'm talking to whom it concerns and a large amount of media and pundits. I see you've placed your bet. We'll see but I'm not willing to do that yet.

I disagree. Kasich is well known by now. Anyone thinking that if he'd only have exposure he'd beat Clinton is delusional. He's had ten months of national exposure and nobody has bought into him. That, coupled with the fact that he doesn't know when to give something up, says about all one needs to know. He belongs to Ohio and only to Ohio.

One thing I was thinking, you know they have these placards at their Meetings saying "text DONATE to -----", there was one I saw at the latest picture of Cruz's rally. What would happen if you did that now? Would you get a reply saying "Thanks for your support, but sadly the Big Man has decided to step down gracefully, here's your donation back", or would it still take it?

Try it and see. You've spent $10 on worse.

Well, isn't it wise that Trump is trying to actually bring the party together. He said he was a uniter not a divider. I watch how he does things.

Pull back the curtain...look at reality...politics is a psychological game being played for very high stakes and we don't see the half of what's really going down.

I think that's also why they don't know what to do with him, he knows all their dirty tricks. But I still don't think he's one of them.

Mr Trump has successfully launched a hostile take over of the GOP IMO. He will now step in as CEO and 'restructure the company'. Soon he will be not only 'one of them', he'll be their leader.

Just you wait...'Evil Donald', 'Lyin Ted', 'Little Marco' will all magically stop hating one another (and soon). By the Convention they will all be spouting about 'Crooked Hillary'. All the stuff about 'Little Marco' hanging out with gay guys in college, 'Evil Donald' raping kiddies, 'Lyin Ted' having a Dad that was pals with Oswald...gone like a Hollywood bimbo's former boyfriends.

I think that it's going to be Donald Trump and if she wins it her, and all of her crimes against our country.

What can I really say about that, except for good, because i don't recognize any of these politicians as doing what's just and correct for the sake of our country. I think that there's good moral individuals that were unable to do anything right for us because all the politicians are owned. I like Jeff Sessions and I see him as a patriot, he see's Trump as a patriot too, so do others.

is he perfect? no.
