Corbyn is attempting to take Labour back to what it used to stand for, and differentiate it from the Conservative Party. However, I actually admire Corbyn for putting first his dedication to his socialist principles and for trying to give the voters of the UK a "real" alternative to the policies held dear by the Conservatives.

I pretty much agree with all that. I mean, what the hell do the Blairites think? That Blairism is a ******in' vote winner? They're utterly deluded.

A chance of what? Don't you realise how much Blair and his legacy have been utterly discredited? don't you realise how traditional Labour voters actually like Corbyn? The only thing a spinoff Blairite party would do would be to have the same effect as the "Coalition" did on the Lib Dems; alienate the traditional support by trying to emulate the Tories, only without a hope of success since there already is a Tory party?

The "Conservative-Lites" are trying everything they can to dump Corbyn and protect their plush "non-executive directorships" by insisting he has to get nominated to fight off the challenge from Eagle.

The rules of the Party only demand that the challenger(s) for the leadership position receive sufficient nominations. Corbyn is not a challenger, but the incumbent. Expect this to go to court.

My Prediction - Teresa May moves into 10 Downing Street tomorrow at the head of a Tory party which only has a slight majority in Parliament. She lasts less than a fortnight due to a vote of no confidence against her. What ends her short-lived leadership is that it takes just a mere 14 rebelling MPs to collapse her Government triggering a General Election. And the vote will occur because she refuses to call one.

Those 14 MPs will be easy to find with the Boris camp angry that he didn't get his chance, with the Gove camp angry that the leadership contest was called without letting him the third place candidate run against May, and finally with the backlash over Mays camp using the right-wing press to cherry pick then use comments to destroy the reputation of Leadsom.

Each of the three camps rival to May will see the opportunity that is presented before them. Vote with Labour, the Liberals, SNP and others in a vote of no confidence. Then power grab for oneself to be the next leader of the Conservative Party.
