I hate to just be openly skeptical. (Comes with My Job I feel)
But... No one is going to catch anything "Big" at Waverly Hills.

Because there is really nothing big to be caught.

There are people who practically live in the place.

-not really, but I actually have friends who spend a few days there a week- Mostly because people pay them to take them in to Waverly.

And the people who are there a ton. Are the most skeptical people ever, because if you have been there hundreads of times and never seen anything 'big' there is most likely nothing big to see.

Never in a million years do I expect to see anything similar again to that 2014 clip of Waverly Hills.....very random....I'm not even sure what that was.

What I do enjoy is the bonding moments I have with my sisters and their hubbies during this trips.

Sorry, I was very tired when I watched the clip. I am not sure who the camera man is but i am leaning towards edited.

Was there a window where the "ghost" appeared. It could be a reflection but the reasons below is most likely.

When the camera pans from the left to the right, I notice a lot of things that give red flags. The first is that it is too suspicious how "The ghost" follows the camera movement in a very fluid movement while  in a two dimensional movement as if it was a shooting duck gallery target. If some one was there and did that, they would not be so fluid like that, there they would merge out they would of having head movement like tilting or bobbing.

The way the camera is moving you should see different angles of the "figure" but it is flat like a card board cut out or a transparent image spliced in. The other issue is the figure is not correct lighting while the torch goes through it, in fact it  blurs and fades while i goes through walls. any It looks like it is edited in to slide in and out then back out of view.

My verdict it is tampered with.

I can't find fault in what you say. On the movement, I could see how, if it were a person, that they moved after they thought the camera had panned past them and left the area.  But I also agree on the 2 dimensional look of it.

Thanks for taking the time studying this.

I admit I'm the amateur camera man.

The only editing I can do was slowing down the clip to x 1/8 speed.....not sure if it helped any.

I honestly respect your verdict....it makes a lot of sense.

Believe it or not..... no editing was done.

Accept the image crossed over between the windows. Right over the piece that divided the windows. Nice try though. Seriously. More then I can say for the people who will tell you all day that no such thing exists, then wont even show up here to talk about this one. I promise there is a reason 95% of the people who would normally rips this apart never said a word.

Waverly is not far from where I live and one of the two places I grew up in. And its one of the most annoying/aggravating places I can think of from a Paranormal standpoint.

Because its one of those places that could be interesting if it was not for the sheer massive amount of clearly made up BS that a lot of people throw around. (not in this case, that's interesting but not stunning)

My favorite is people who throw around death numbers. (I have a friend who keeps saying 12'000 people) But its less then 5'000 in 70 years of operation. But that kind of silly exaggeration really messes with any real credibility. I have been a few times with friends, and I'm always just more annoyed while I'm there... mostly because of the other people.

I also always thought it was interesting that in its day it was a top of the line installation.

My Great-Great Grand mother actually was housed there for a few years.

Id hate to see what you consider stunning.

Could you answer about the window frame please? Is there glass there?  I have a few more more questions about the 2 tours you did, if you're still around.  Just about what, where and when you looked after that room.

That's pretty good, Brian Topp.

Nobody knows what a "ghost" looks like.....so for me....it's another "what the fxxk" moment.

Thanks.

Can you tell us when you became aware of the bit of video in question?  Was it while you were still on the tour? After you went home?  Some time in between?

Were you escorted/guided on the tour, or were you allowed to self guide?

I reviewed the video....maybe 3 days later when I got back home.

Honestly, if I witnessed that thing in real time.....I would've run away like a screaming schoolgirl.

We initially got a quick history of the place early on the investigation with a guide.....then we were on our own.

Weird. My first reaction, if I'd seen it, would have been to move towards it. You know ...... investigate ?  ......   especially considering the cover charge.

When you did your reconstruction, did you, or anybody, explore the room beyond the window frame? Did anyone go down the corridor to the right of the window?

ETA.  In one of your videos, I can hear what appears to be another group talking.  That must make it hard to record for EVP and other mysterious sounds of the spirit world.

Are there lights in the place, or do you need torches?

@The Butler.....you're braver than I am....my reaction would be....pee in my pants then run.....I'm not a professional investigator.

The 3rd clip showed us inside the big room beyond the window frame. As far as I remember.....we did roam up and down the hallway.

In the first clip.....I was more focused on that silouette on the wall near the exit door...that's what startled me in 2014.....I was alone.....initially.....walking towards the door....when I encountered that human siloutte "painted" on the wall.

I'm not a professional investigator, either, just a curious person.

Ok cool. Luckily the woman (sister?) who was directing you had better recollection. I just realised I hadn't watched the third one yet. I don't think you've replicated the angle of the shot at all. The height looks wrong. I did notice in the discussion that the door was to outside. I assume the windows on that wall have glass in them?

Do you mean while you were filming? Is that why you pan back to it?

Do you remember where you went imediately after the 2014 clip finishes? Did you or your relatives go into that room as you did in the 2016 clip, or away from it?

Did you not have a copy of the 2014 video with you in 2016 to reference for your angles, light, camera height .... ?

The windows to the outside have glass in them.....where you marked them in red.

I had a difficult time with the exact angles during filming due to low lighting....I had to rely on my small viewfinder on the camera to approximate our location.

I can see that. It's very hard to do even with a good view finder, when you're trying to replicate a hand held camera position.  But to rule out reflection as the likely answer, you need to get it perfect at every angle. It's near on impossible without some serious equipment.

My point is that these videos aren't investigations of anything.  Your OP claimed that you had done an investigation.

At the time of filming.....I was focused more on the silhouette on the wall.....that's why I keep panning my camera to that area.

Immediately before and after the 1st clip.....we focused our attention on the ball on the hallway floor that was near the area.

We did go inside that big room (behind that window) earlier in the investigation.

The original SD card was at home and a copy was given to Tina M.(owner) earlier in the evening.....my only reference to the area was that silhouette on the wall.....I'm ashamed to say we came unprepared.

I don't even see a need to recreate. You already know the conditions that you were under. You know reflections cant cross between windows unaffected. I only see two options here. Intentionally faked, or unexplainable.

I doubt the scientific community would touch this with a 10 foot pole. Same reason most of our skeptics who live for this type of thing have been a no show.

Not many skeptics come to investigations section of this forum.

I am leaning on faked.
