This is the first Presidential election where my three boys are old enough to understand what is going on.  Since we have discussed and debated Trump v. Lie-lary, it seems like forever now, frequently with them this will be a great opportunity for them to see how it all unfolds and a logical conclusion.  So, yes - me and my family will be watching FoxNews' coverage of the election.

Whether the candidate we favor wins or loses, watching the results and listening to the coverage, I think, for children who can understand the process is a wonderful educational experience.  Who knows, perhaps one of my boys will use this tragedy as the impetus for some social cause.

I will be watching every minute and switching back and forth between channels like I have from the beginning of this saga 1 1/2 years ago. I have already voted so I won't have to worry about dealing with that on Tuesday.

I will continue to watch until a winner is announced, and it wouldn't surprise me if it went on all night and through the morning.

Edit to add: After Clinton gives her concession speech surrounded by her crime family I will be able to sleep.

It's depressing. No one is excited to watch this election. This is what a "political rock-bottom" looks like. None of the candidates represent the people, the votes barely matter, everything the people want is disregarded...

If the water wasn't running or the lights turned off for a week, there would be an uprising. Those in office should pray that we all continue to lead cushy lives cause the day that stops is the day the wrath of the people is turned on Washington.

Am I being dramatic, or hopeful?

Anyway, my face on election night:

We didn't ask for this, but we allowed it to happen. We took for granted the greatest Democracy the world has ever known, a place where men could be free to live and do as they choose. Free as we all should be.

I do not know what will happen in the next few years, as those in power tear down the final barriers provided by the Constitution. Maybe there will be bloodshed, maybe not. Maybe we will set aside our differences and finally come together to fight the real enemy who seeks to keep us divided and enslaved. That is the greatest fear of the elite.

Godspeed, America.

May the freedom you inspired continue to burn in the hearts of free people all over the world until it burns in every heart and ALL are free.

I have to confess im kinda excited to watch the next 48 hours or so, but at  this point im kinda like the fan who goes to a NASCAR event just for the wrecks.

Mrs Clinton has been in politics forever. It's quite clear to me that she favors a Socialist Oligarchy ruled by her and her cronies.

Mr Trump has been a sketchy billionaire forever. It's not clear to me what he will actually do if elected (could be better or worse than Clinton).

Guess we'll find out soon enough.

I will watch this. Starting from early morning. Daughter has been notified that TV/Xbox is off limits for the day, evening and wife that I am off any conversation track and dinner is pizza and beer (well, coke for daughter).

Like I said in another thread I am really glad we don't have to go through a presidential election, but I must confess it is a lot more fascinating than what we got here. (We have had the same head of state since 1972 )

It's like a bloodless revolution every four years...  If the only candidates were all from the same club with different mascots for the different cliques.  Both sides line up, throw insults at each other and after the most popular kid on the block wins by a classroom vote the winning side gloats while the losing side sulks.

Can you imagine how smug Trump would be in one of the private meetings with Obama if he wins?  Or how many insults/taunts he'd throw out knowing Obama's going out the door and there's nothing he can do about handing over the keys?
