It ended up this way because too many people stayed home and didn't care to vote for the candidates from bottom up to represent their ideals. Candidates who represent all of us and work together to make the system work,

It was designed that all the people participate in an active role in the body politic, but it has become tainted.  Poisoned by Socialism.

not just to play their own power and money games. That's the real root of the downfall. Voters weren't involved enough with politics or put faith in false promises of campaigns without fact checking or seeing the bigger picture in time to change it.

Progressives are only focused on their power and their desire to control the people through social engineering.

It’s up to the people to be more involved.  For far too long, the Progressive message has been to beat down the people and make them Ignorant and Apathetic from doing their duty.  The message has been that the ruling elite know better as to what is best for us.  That is what lets professional politicians to usurp power from the people.

So the lobbyists who circumvent the will of the people are socialists? The congressmen and women who take their payments rather than the people's will are doing it for socialism?   To the bolded I believe it was rich capitalist republicans who gave us trickle down economics. Literally they told us that letting them have more money so they could decide what was best for us was a good idea.

My point for this isnt to talk trash or defend a political ideology but simply to point out that many political concepts we believe to be concrete are just thought patterns which have been imposed on us through pop culture (i.e democrats are "weak hippies" despite the fact that Obama dropped more bombs than Bush )

I noticed this building for the first time today. I'm taking it as a sign of an impending Trump victory

I'll listen to Fox News while I do other things. It'll be background chatter. I can't and won't watch the Democrat MSM. I'm done with their blatant propaganda.

Oh come on, now, be honest for once in your life.  You have NEVER not been "done" with Democrats.  Your so partisan you couldn't possibly even try to see the other side.

I'm an honest person. That's why I see through your complete and total nonsense. That's why I see through your predictable, repetitive cries of "bigot" when educated, intelligent people make good choices that don't match your dogma. You never met a double standard that you didn't like.

You don't know or understand my views. You assume that you do, but you don't. I could list my liberal views, and I could list some liberal individuals that I admire. However, it probably would not penetrate your closed, doctrinaire mind.

You (and Michelle and the rest of the cast) have never posted good argument, just claims (generally false and always exaggerated) reflecting hate.  Hate is no basis for reasonable thought, and, I think, ultimately derives from fear.

I'm surprised your fingers didn't fly off your hands go screeching outside and throw themselves in front of a car just to get away from the irony....

Wow, two in one post.  And as if it matters what some, uninformed biased foreigner thinks about us here.

Three now.  Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Hate.  Hate.  Hate.  You're the only one doing the hating here.  And merely because better informed people that actually live here have a better grip on the reality going on here.

So, lets see your proof to support your claims about everyone for once in your life.

I could be calling it too soon.

It's super close in Florida but she has a nice lead in ohio and ohio has always sided with the winner since 64. Unfortunately. But only 15 percent of ohio vote is in so we shall see

You have to keep in mind that when you see Trump or Hillary as much as even 10% in the lead, it's often with less than 25% of the votes counted.  I wouldn't even consider a state being confirmed won/lost until around 70% of the vote is counted and there's a significant lead.

I know - I once remember Frank being a little more easy going. But of late he reminds me of being a Mr...

I have about an hour until I have to leave for a graveyard shift so I won't know the results for a while, but I have a few different pre-election maps saved that I want to compare the actual results to.  It will be interesting to see how far off/how accurate the polls were.

No - I think you may be projecting a bit of your own inner turmoil and fear onto others Frank.

No offence Sir...but you seem to be coming across as being the most hateful so far...

Maybe a group hug - will help smooth some of those sharper bits on you....  group-hugging-smiley-emoticon.gif....

I'm watching the BBC coverage live from New York, and it has a real feeling of déjà vu with the Referendum coverage over here.

Clinton's crew have gone from looking overly-confident to more nervous with each passing minute.

At this moment, voting in the swing states are a lot closer than expected by the Clinton campaign..
