Still Waters Posted December 2, 2016 #1 Share Posted December 2, 2016 Construction of a life-size replica of the Titanic has begun at a Mediterranean-themed attraction in China. The copy of the famous, doomed liner will be part of the Romandisea Seven Star International Cultural Tourism Resort, along the Qijiang River in Sichuan Province's Daying County. As well as providing a feel of what the vessel was like, the attraction will also provide visitors with a simulation of the original Titanic's collision with an iceberg and subsequent sinking. http://news.sky.com/story/life-size-replica-titanic-being-built-in-china-10677983

James Cameron used the time machine from the Terminator to go back and stage the whole thing as marketing for his ****ty movie. #TheTruthIsInHereLikeTotesForReals
skookum Posted December 3, 2016 #12 Share Posted December 3, 2016 Hasn't this been dumded down somewhat. I am sure when I originally read he was building a replica in China it was going to be an ocean going vessel (meeting modern safety requirements) but done out as accurately as possible. Now it seems to be just a floating shell with a few rooms and will be permanently docked.
