Ooh...I just love Mrs Obama's red A-line dress and Mrs Trump's light blue suit dress...couldn't see their shoes though (darn, I love shoes!).

Oh my , what about that youngster who was like I set that fire because I felt like it? yeah, last evening during a D.C protest.Who are raising these children like this are actually messed up people.

So very, very sad that people are raising their precious children to think that kind of behavior is acceptable.

Melania & Donald were both  wearing lovely shades of blue.

I thought Michelle 's behavior looked odd in accepting the gift in the pretty blue box Melania gave her.

I thought Mrs Obama was perhaps a little surprised by the gift? All seemed pretty cordial to me actually.

What to say about the  people protesting Trump that can't even explain why they are protesting him truthfully. What are they protesting against in all the protest running . They call him a fascist but he's not. He's for fair trade, border secured, broken immigration system fixed.I don't know what will become of all the chaos but Trump will not allow it to control the company/America is why I voted him in.

People full of hate are always surprised by gifts from people they're wrong about.

They both look stunning. I would kill for the stilettos Melania was wearing yesterday.

She seemed to put it under her arm at some point like as if it were a basketball. I wonder  what it was because of the way she put that box under her arm,she left it wide like a basketball instead of turning the box slender side under her arm . lol nvm me.

Sometimes you just have to accept that other people don't see things the way you do. When Obama was elected I couldn't understand why people wanted a President who held principles that were extremely unlikely to economically help our country that was suffering a serious recession. I figured that perhaps he would help the country socially (heal the racial divide). However, the culture of far left political correctness achieved nothing of the sort. I never personally hated President Obama or wished him or his family any ill will. I absolutely never entertained the thought of refusing to accept that he was the duly elected POTUS. So, for 8 years I respectfully disagreed with a great many of the President's policies. Never once did I consider that anyone should riot or cause any type of social disorder.

That's because, unlike some others, you're a level-headed person that thinks things through.  Most of us are.

Why am I talking about this?  Because this is how real 'grown ups' behave when something doesn't go their way...they don't riot, burn up stuff, scream obscene insults, attack law enforcement, etc. If anything like this happens today then perhaps we collectively (as a nation) need to re-think our views regarding what's acceptable behavior?

Exactly.  But it's not just because the whingers and rioters and sore losers are liberals/leftists/democrats, in my opinion it's more to do with our current society in general.  BUT the problems with our society are more obvious when one looks at the left in this country.  As has been pointed out, the right in general doesn't throw social temper tantrums, they don't riot, when things go badly for the right, it's a "wait and see" attitude, and fix things the next chance available.  That's a more healthy way to conduct living.  No need to throw tantrums, spew hatred and lies, and intentionally upset other's lives merely because they voted for Trump.

I thought the two women looked genuinely comfortable with each other - and the men played the part
that they needed to but looked relaxed -

It is a shame the nation is so divided. Personally, I don't really like Trump that much, he is proud, arrogant and boastful. But I feel, that even though he is wealthy, he is not in bed with the globalist elite, and won't be a puppet to them.

On the other hand, the Clinton foundation took in money from foreign governments during Hillary's tenure as Secretary of State, and the Clinton Global initiative is closing it doors soon. https://www.yahoo.com/news/clinton-global-initiative-closing-down-184658668.html  And the donations are drying up, now she no longer has political influence. That kind of tells you all you need to know on why the donations were coming in from governments.

It came down to two choices as always this election, and I'll take option one, arrogance, over option two, pay to play.

Trump's only "crimes" is his attitude at times.  Like you said, he's proud, arrogant and boastful.  He's a narcissist, a loud-mouth.  None of those things I like about him.  But none of those things means he's going to be a bad POTUS.  What will make him a bad POTUS is him making bad decisions as POTUS....nothing else.  He's a good businessman, which is a huge plus.  I personally wish that all POTUS had served in the military in some capacity, but I've accepted that's not going to happen in this day and age, but I think Trump only would have as a leader if he had some military service under his belt.  (I'm sure that sentence will bring up more whinging about him "draft-dodging" during Vietnam.... ),

We had two choices.  The best choice was Trump, but only because he was running against Shrillary (and, honestly, everyone else that was part of the race last year).  The only single positive thing about having Shrillary elected is that there wouldn't be threats of violence and disruptions and the bile-filled hatred being posted, because in general, the right doesn't do those things.

I wish we did have a better choice, but it is what it is now, and we'll have to make the best out of it.  Instead of proclaiming doom and gloom, lying about Trump and ignoring facts, and wishing dreadful things to happen, the left should just accept reality and move on with their lives.  There are much more important things to worry about than wasting energy on unbalanced rage toward our POTUS.

I like the comforting pat on the back Obama just gave Trump.  Good attitude to see at the moment.

Ok ladies, Mrs Trump has on light blue pointed toe pumps! I'm frustrated though because I've yet to see Mrs Obama's shoes!

*sorry gentlemen but we have to touch on shoe issues every now and then*
