That said I do love the information age because we can cross check stories and we can investigate (on a certain level anyways) for our selves and we arent dependent on the main stream media. 

As it often does, these conversations always lead me back to the founders who knew that the only way this republic survives is though a well informed populous. You will never see me not defend additional or contrary information. Nor will you ever see me not defend the right of people to reject information they find lacking. I think your heart is in the right place here, but I don't think you are seeing the big picture.
