Posted January 31, 2017 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2017 A New Kind of Clairvoyance A father walked into a Target store near Minneapolis a few years ago, clutching a handful of coupons that Target had sent to his teenage daughter, promoting baby clothes, maternity wear and cribs. “Are you trying to encourage [my daughter] to get pregnant”, the man complained to the manager? According to Charles Duhigg of the New York Times, who broke this story, the Target manager apologized for the embarrassing error on the spot, and even called the man to apologize a second time. There was just one problem: Target’s wasn’t in error after all. The high school girl in question, unbeknownst to her parents, actually was pregnant.
