Kellyanne Conway

Meanwhile back at the ranch:

"Ethics lawyers and liberal activists excoriated White House counselor Kellyanne Conway after she gave a “free commercial” for Ivanka Trump’s clothing line, an apparent violation of a federal rule that bars public officials from using their positions to promote private business interests.

But enforcing that rule will be left up to the White House itself — or a federal agency that has traditionally shown little interest in launching investigations, legal specialists said.

Conway’s unusual product endorsement from the White House briefing room came in response to reports that retailers, including Nordstrom Inc., have been dropping Ivanka Trump’s apparel due to lack of sales.

“It’s a wonderful line. I own some of it,” Conway said during an interview on Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends program. “I’m going to give it a free commercial here. Go buy it today everybody; you can find it online.”

That's one classy lady.  But, I'm sure this is totally cool with some of the folks in this thread.  Nothing to see here, move along...  Yup.

Ok, here is the resume:

-  You claimed that the european media is hiding news about migrant caused problems. You were not able to provide evidence for that claim so the claim remains unbacked but confirmed as to be untrue .

- You were asked to provide an example direct related to your claim and limited to Germany media. You were not able to provide a single case of/for evidence for that claim, you only provided material that wasnt related to German media, so the claim remains unbacked but confirmed as to be untrue.

- Its obvious you dont read/view German media sources, of which are also a lot available in English language, so you dont have the base to judge about the quality and contents published on this media platforms.

Lets "see" how do you suppose news happens?  The many video's online that  people are sharing is all the proof I need and their voices are heard! We hear them  and we believe them we see what's happening there.

eta

those videos are truth of what is happening there.

Judge: Defendant, you have been seen by 10 people committing the offense before us, as well as clear videotape... how do you plead?

Defendant: Judge, I plead innocent by reason of alternative fact.

Courtroom: Bursts out in laughter.

Judge: Order, Order in the Court.

Again, you are not able to back your claim (European media blablabla). You failed and you have to accept that fact.

Nobody doubt that things happen here, and anywhere else as well, but your imagination about Europe is very simple and very limited.

Nope, sorry pal, you're not dreaming.  This is really the political dialogue in America right now.

Yeah I know but as Ive said already, the WH elite should carry on this way. Every single case will help to cause the barrel to overflow (which has been happen a few times already IMO).

And I see a possibility for a class action lawsuit by the competitors of I.Trump against Conway. Rock ’n’ Roll!

Trump and his people clearly have a problem with a free press.

Now that's an ironic and inaccurate statement.  But, then again, the left lives for hypocrisy and irony.

Blue State Blues: The Media Suddenly Discover Presidential Ethics

It is gratifying to watch the media suddenly discover such concepts as the independence of the judiciary, conflicts of interest, and press freedom. For the eight years of President Barack Obama’s tenure, the media treated conservatives who raised those concerns as racists, or cranks, or both.

Ya, kinda...  lol...  Actually, for what it's worth, this thread isn't representative of most of the conversations I've had with Americans from both the Left and the Right.  This is fringe debating, which would be funny, if it weren't so divisive in a time when unity and healing are so important.  But please, carry on, I'm sure you're doing good work in someone's eyes...

LOL...  I know you are but what am I?  Sorry, couldn't resist, now that the conversation has devolved into accusations and spam posting.

Tim Scott reads bigoted insults tweeted to him for supporting Sessions nomination

You see what I’m surprised by, just a smidgen, is that the liberal left that speaks and desires for all of us to be tolerant, do not want to be tolerant of anyone that disagrees with where they are coming from. So the definition of tolerance isn’t that all Americans experience a full level of tolerance, it’s that all Americans that agree with them experience this so-called tolerance

I would call that stupidity connected with an arrogance thats based on the opinion to be superior, favored and inviolable. But she will have to pay the bill for that stunt, of that I`m sure.

You know I was never in favour of this administration but once voted in I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and a fair and unbiased chance.
But after 3 weeks of this administration and its bull**** I really wonder how anyone can still support and defend them.

Conway needs to be held accountable for breaking the law. Don the Con & Co. cannot keep breaking the law thinking it will never catch up to them. It will.

Quote

It’s so blatant, in fact, that House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, a Republican, told the Associated Press on Thursday afternoon that Conway’s behavior was “wrong, wrong, wrong, clearly over the line, unacceptable.”

He said that he and Democratic Congressman Elijah Cummings were sending a letter to the White House and the Office of Government Ethics asking for an investigation.

Ultimately, though, unless Congress wants to open an investigation itself, disciplinary action against Conway would have to come from the White House or the Department of Justice, and it’s not clear that either would put the law above loyalty to the Trump family.

The Office of Government Ethics can write a letter recommending some sort of sanction, but according to Noble, it doesn’t see itself as an enforcement agency.

“The system is based on the assumption that people are going to want to follow the law or enforce it,” he says.

In 20 days, this administration has exploded that assumption. “They are stress-testing our democracy,” says Noble.

“What happens if the administration just refuses to follow the laws and Congress doesn't want to do anything about it?” We might be about to find out.

Mexico/U.S.A border is more of a  dire problem right now & no one is ignoring the other.

The point is, you can probably succeed with a wall up on the border to Mexico, but then they'll find going over to the States from Canada easier. Then what?
