you right there may be more than just half. according to cnn

The US did experience its highest one-year increase in the murder rate in half a century between 2014 and 2015.

lol...did you just flip into Troll mode?  If so, props.  If not...really?  Let's just say all the planets have aligned, there's 3 blue moons in the sky, and they just opened up family skate in Hell, and that's what he actually meant.  I have to ask again, are you cool with your guy being this bad at communicating?  Do you honestly believe he represents the best America has to offer?  This is the guy that's gonna make America great again?  Because if it were me, I'd be a little nervous about now...

And, follow up, had Obama made the same statement, would you have supported him?

Its kinda becoming scary.

Sometimes it's like talking to a wall.  It's a one line quote, it's not that hard to dissect, and it certainly isn't hard to fact check.  It's just funny because I was just talking about blatant lies that no one holds him accountable for.

As a non-American just trying to understand....what am I missing?

You have a reasonable grasp of how our system is supposed to work.  For many years, it is how it DID work.  Today the Left openly includes a sold-out media organization to act as a propaganda ministry.  If that sounds like hyperbole, you haven't paid close enough attention.  For the last 8 years, those on the Left have refused UTTERLY to share power or to compromise in any meaningful way.  The power (money) in D.C. is the prize and we no longer have statesmen as leaders.  Unless the people who believe in what America was founded on can destroy the corrupt system so entrenched there, our nation is doomed.

i do not need to believe anything, there was 2 choices, him or Hillary, she was the worst choice out of the two.

we are playing with the cards we were dealt. not the cards we'd like to be dealt.

and yes considering the choices he was the best our political machine had to offer

.weren't they responsible for 'massacring' US soldiers in Iraq with IEDs...?

Of course they could never compete with all the deaths (massacres) of Iraqi and Libyan civilians that the Obama Administration
and Bush Administration are responsible for

If there's a moral equivalence between these massacres and those massacres, then you'll take many 1000s of times more exception with Ella Panella than you do with me.   If dueling massacres are what's left from this OP about Kellyanne's word choices, can Yemeni, Libyan and Syrian civilians sue Lockheed, Boeing, Raytheon, GE, IBM, United Technologies, etc because they're responsible for making weapons that massacre people?

Quote

- but they couldn't be allowed to carry on their terrorist work on US soil...

Well that's exactly what they say about us on their soil.   If you want to play the game you need a partner to play it with.

"This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter with a half-million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer  with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. . . . This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron." ~ Dwight Eisenhower

We don't have any problems because of President Trump. What we have here is a lack of respect from others because of Obama.

So...where do we land on this topic.  Clearly the Left finds the lying / alternative facts / mis-speaking exhausting.  Do we leave this conversation saying the Pro-Trump crowd is good with it?  Nothing to see here, move along?

We have a lack of respect, because of Obama?  Could it not have stemmed from our current President who led a birther movement for years by telling us our President was not legitimate, a Muslim, born in another country, and had a fake birth certificate?  Lack of respect.  Go away now.

You want everybody to worship Trump or something? Or just put their heads up his ass with blind devotion and then say nothing, like he never does anything wrong? You need to keep in mind, for a lot of us who voted the narcissistic A-hole in to keep Hillary out, he is the second worse choice out of the two. And lot of us just may vote his ass out in 4 years if a better choice comes along.

President Trump is just more wiser & more Patriotic as opposed to Obama so it's expected that President Trump will be more thorough in securing America's borders and keeping us safe.

Wiser? Wise in general? Who? That was a good one, you made my day! Thanks a lot!
