4dplane Posted December 30, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 30, 2004 A friend of mine sent me this email - thought I would share - the second video made my heart race. these were tough to get, so i am putting 2 of them on my site (temporarily). The first, patong_beach was shown on most networks, but is unedited here. The second phuketwas not broadcast to the best of my knowledge anywhere. Viewer discretion is advised! +joc Posted December 31, 2004 #3 Share Posted December 31, 2004 I am so incredibly sad. This is all so surreal...I am quite distraught after viewing those. Thank you for posting them. Even after seeing, I still cannot imagine. I just feel so incredibly sad.
Walken Posted December 31, 2004 #4 Share Posted December 31, 2004 What really distressed me was in the second one. People tried to help those in need, only for them to be swept away. Evreything those people owned was swept down a street amongst hundreds of bodys. They died so nature could prove her dominence once again.

AztecInca Posted December 31, 2004 #6 Share Posted December 31, 2004 The destruction and horror of it all is just too great, those poor poor people who have lost so much and it looks like things are only going to get a whole lot worse for the survivors! freaky6 Posted December 31, 2004 #7 Share Posted December 31, 2004 I remember when I first saw it on the news, it broke my heart because they were so unprepared. I can't imagine what they must have felt, what they're still feeling. The number of people who have perished was more than I ever thought it would be. I wish I could somehow help them. It's just so sad.

Hawk7886 Posted December 31, 2004 #9 Share Posted December 31, 2004 This is horrible I wish that the guy filming the second video would stay still in the beginning. 430387[/snapback] Well, considering what was happening, I don't think he could've found a tripod. The second video is spectacular, although short. I wonder what happened after the clip ends...
