Spectacular footage shows Mt. Etna eruption

Still Waters

March 1, 2017 - See amazing footage of the erupting Mount Etna, Europe's largest active volcano. With written records of eruptions dating back to 425 B.C, Etna has almost continuous eruptive activity. A major eruption in 1928 destroyed the town of Mascali, but residents had enough time and warning to evacuate. Each year it produces enough lava to fill a 108-story skyscraper.

Mother nature is awesome.

I love the part in the video when the rocks (lava) tumble down the slope,
it sounds exactly like when I am poking around the glowing coal in my kettle barbecue

I remember flying around Etna back in the 80's while working out of NAS Sigonella.  It is always boiling away inside the vent.

Not sure what your point is but I was referring to the eruption that is injuring people and making headlines this week.  I'm well aware it's an active volcano.
