I actually read that thing - it makes one shiver it was just so god awfully stupid.

I did too. I thought it was a Afrocentric that wrote it. When I learned it was a Iraqi Kurd I was even more shocked.

What about these?

1. Two vultures board an airplane; each is carrying two dead raccoons. The stewardess looks at them and says, “I’m sorry gentlemen, only one carrion allowed per passenger.”

2. Two boll weevils grew up in the Deep South. One went to Hollywood and became a famous actor. The other stayed behind in the cotton fields and never amounted to much. The second one, naturally, became known as: the lesser of two weevils.

3. Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, but when they lit a fire in the craft, it sank, proving once again that you: can't have your kayak and heat it, too.

4. A three-legged dog walks into a saloon in the Old West. He slides up to the bar and announces: “I’m looking for the man who shot my paw.”

5. Did you hear about the Buddhist who refused Novocain during a root canal? He wanted to transcend dental medication.

6. A group of chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories. After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse. “But why” they asked as they moved off? “Because he said, “I can’t stand chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.”

Or, what about the chickpea that was arested for murdering another chickpea. They were charged with hummuside.

Who was the first person to climb My Olympus and find the gods had left?

Why did the human migration to Europe walk around the Mediterranean and not just cross at Gibraltar?

Homo erectus stole all the boats several millenniums earlier. :)

I don't even know why it was recommended. I'm studying Turkish dialects and Paleo Siberian languges. (Well, that's a "waste basket" classification not a family)

Go figure

None. Academia.com allows self-publication.

Really?

I didn't think they did that! Although it doesn't surprise me.

Yes now you can publish your theory that Homo Sapiens destroyed an advanced Squirrel civilization by taking their nuts away.

I look forward to it!!

Hi Dany

Of course, it was Mrs. H.Sapien that took his nuts away. Not much has changed over the eons.

Question on a stone mentioned in this report from 1938

http://www.gizapyramids.org/static/pdf library/hassan_giza_10.pdf

Page 23

Anyone know where that stone is or a more modern report?

I ask as the stone shows the use of the pyramid hieroglyph.

The guy who was here with the Serapeum beer box theory (I won't use his name...he posts sometimes at Hall of Maat and I suppose elsewhere) had done this and then used it as 'academic' foundation for his article on same which was published over at Ancient Origins and also for his thread here.  Very circular and self-referential...and to use the vernacular: tricky; so it seems to me.

Too bad Academia.com allows this.

People faking a Native American ancestry would submit a fake genealogy to the LDS database ( because the Mormons don't check ****). Then pull it back out and use it as "proof". That failed when all the ancestry record websites came about though.
