I agree my mother has a cat and it sleeps most all day and roams at night . I have a boxer she will sleep as long as you let her sleep . I think it depends on the animal and maybe even their size. I heard elephants eat the majority of the time also Giraffes sleep very little because of the fear of being attacked due to their size.
