Yes Im sure in comparison with a war criminal to this day still embroiled in hydrocarbon themed meddling within middle eastern affairs Mrs May does come off looking like an attractive option. There wasnt sufficient information to make an informed decision. When the answer to such an important question isnt clear what decision should you make? Perhaps one based on populism or one based on fear? Feeling that one is not qualified to make a decision is a good enough reason to abstain IMHO.

But again I should reiterate this is a general election and about government not a referendum rerun.

The other element is the Corbyn factor. I was watching a "staunch" Labour voter being interviewed outside Parliament on the BBC earlier, and he stated he'd be voting Conservative as the prospect of Corbyn leading Britain was terrifying.

If that doesn't sum up the disarray in Labour right now, I don't know what does...

My (deceased)  Dad voted Labour all his life and would never have voted for any other party  -
but as you say above that's not how it is now with many previously staunch Labour voters -
and especially at this point in history -

Contrary to what the Remainers have tried to say - the Leave voters are not stupid and they know,
like I know,  what has to be done now for the good of the country and all our futures -

we need to give Teresa May a workable majority so that she can do what has to be done --

Throuble is though, who could you rely on for unbiased and objective information? Not the politicians or the media, that/s for sure. You can rely on no one can you. You really have to go on your own prejudices and hatreds. I mean, I didn't believe a single thing any of them threatened or promised about brexit, but I decided for myself based on my very own prejudices and fears. It's all you can you really.

the decision was made to Leave so now we leave -

I hope that many Remainers realize that giving Teresa May a strong hand for negotiating is in their
best interests as well, now that the decision has been made  -

I also hope that the Scottish voters who don't want the SNP to split up the UK and Scotland to become beholding
to 27 other countries in the EU --- will use this opportunity to send Nicola Sturgeon etc a message -

Or perhaps you could do what I and many people did and ignore all the hype & base your decision on 30 years of observation of how the E.U. operates.

It's possible to find out all the information needed to make a decision for 'you' i had all the information needed to vote in the referendum took the worse case  scenario and voted leave.

I had one of those moments of clarity on my journey into work this morning. I had a picture pop into my head of what it would look like with

Jeremy Corbin, Diane Abbott & Tom Watson sitting down to negotiating Brexit with the E.U. .....I rest my case m'lud.

This is great news. This election will completely and utterly destroy the Remoaners once and for all. Mrs May will win by an even bigger landslide than Thatcher won in 1983, given her not only a political mandate to lead the country but a massive mandate for Brexit. This vote will, in essence, see the British people voting - overwhelmingly this time - for Brexit. The remaining Remoaners are going to be crushed.

i'd like to think so, But we have to remember where the referendum was one vote one person and every single individual voted actually counted in a General election it doesn't, in the sense you are only voting in your constituency/Local MP; example my vote wont matter because my constituency is Labour and has a majority of 6,000 and that majority wont be over turned. So even though my Brexit voted counted this time around it wont. ( i'll still vote but i wont be on the winning side)

The only saving grace is, if Vote Leave was a political party, and the referendum result was done on a constituency level. the Leave party would have won a landslide victory. i think the figure was 63% of the vote with labour in second on 23%.

That's why people who voted Leave have to put political allegiance aside and vote Tory. Tory for Brexit and rub the noses of the Remoaners in it.

What I am curious to know from people who actually live there is: what is your opinion of Nicola Sturgeon.   Is she going to have a chance at upsetting the vote? We only get what is said in the news.  I would like to hear from actual citizens opinions on her and her ambitions.

Wow, well that was embarrassing. She sounded like a 6th former that hasn't be paying attention in class. If Corbyn surrounds himself with people of that calibre he's doomed.
