I hear ya, those two have, literally, gotten away with murder and it is NOT good for this country that a certain group of people are apparently above the law.

The Clintons are above the law.

So it would seem but Jim Sessions is a pretty tough guy so I am willing  to give this administration the benefit of the doubt.  The fact that the Clintons have been so quiet is what leads me to believe that the investigation(s) are ongoing.

I agree, the bulk of the "everyday" democrats aren't into this far left garbage.  The new DNC Chairman is getting booed off stage as he rants and curses and the leadership are all over the age of 70 and thoroughly corrupt.  Some are looking to Obama who oversaw the utter destruction of the democrat party during his failed 8 years.  The only enemy of the republican party are the pussies running the republican party and they are fully capable of losing to even these lunatics.

Your last sentence hits the nail on the head. There are times when the GOP seems like its own worst enemy. They should have been able to repeal and replace Obamacare with ease and speed. One wonders if there's a Fifth Column among the Republican Party.

They're going to get washed out, people are starting to have open dialog . At about 32.min  in the video  is a good point to take a peek .From there on if anyone is interested people start talking from both sides. The annoying trouble makers are going to fade away.

I hope and pray that's the case. I have some doubts, though. There's word that they will soon crash a White Nationalist rally. Kentucky LEOs might put them in their place if they try anything.

No need to wonder. after they actively campaigned against their nominee for president.

Well, that's weird. I typed a big long and beautiful reply, and it came up with "Internal Server Error", but it seems to do that when i try to post that particular post. It's a conspiracy, I expect.

Probably so, Comrad

The annoying troublemakers will go away only if you put them all in jail or shoot them, which I guess given the attitudes expressed here could be in the future.

this post here was the one I was trying to quote. What I was trying to say was, Oh, without a doubt. Much of his supposedly own Party has been conspiring against the big orange fellow just as much as the Dems have. In fact, when it comes to those who really hold the power it's irrelevant whether they do have a (D) or an (R), they're all working for the same thing, which is to keep the power in their hands indefinitely.

If these "annoying trouble makers" are in violation of the law they should be arrested, given all their Constitutional rights, placed in jail until such time as they go before a judge. This applies to everyone who thinks they have the right to violate the law.

That was their versions of "Hail, Mary" passes. They hoped and prayed for an establishment Republican to ride in on a white horse to save the day for them. The Never-Trumpers couldn't see the forest for the trees, so they might as well have worked for the Clinton campaign. One would think that they could view the forest now, but it's clear that some of them still can't.

It's fine if the protests and rallies are peaceful. That goes for any group. They could prevent much of the trouble by banning face masks. This seems to do the trick without shooting people. :P

I can't argue with that. The deep state rarely relinquishes control and power to anybody, even the ostensible leader of the free world. That can be seen in Trump's changes of heart on a variety of issues. The president is not the same man as the candidate in some important ways.

That often happens to me. The gremlins eat long posts on this forum, which is why my posts are concise and succinct. I don't like to tempt fate because it's very aggravating to lose long soliloquies. I feel your pain.

It's too much to expect complete peacefulness in any sort of large rally -- there are always a few who want trouble.  That the press emphasizes the violence and ignores the thousands peacefully protesting is just natural for the press, but it is not something to try to make political hay with.

I agree with that -- this is not the tone of some of your cohorts.

The fact that the Berkeley protesters won really, really sickens me. The threat of VIOLENCE now has the power to effectively counter Free Speech.

Why wouldn't the police do like I heard suggested and require the protesters to be a mile away? Anyone protesting outside the area of the speech would be told to move on. Doubtless this is due to the nature of California, and the super liberal elites who run that state.

It always has.  It's just that we are used to the government having a monopoly on violence.

The fact that the mayor himself was a member of an extremist organization is a big part of the problem and as we have seen before, far left people and organizations see themselves as above the law and regularly break it or use it to harm their political opponents.

There's one in every crowd. However, it certainly helps to ban face coverings, like bandanas and masks. Doing so leads to much more peaceful events. It seems to neutralize Antifa.

The point is well taken, but what one sees as a democracy another sees as an oppressive oligarchy, and this latter group may genuinely fear what happens to them if they are photographed demonstrating.

America is no stranger to people being picked up and beaten and so on after their picture appears in a newspaper -- sometimes by police, sometimes by vigilantes.  Therefore it seems to me if one wants to conceal one's identity, it is necessary to allow this as otherwise one is violating their right of free speech and assembly.  The trade off is just part of the cost of having real freedom as opposed to just giving it lip service.

I'm curious to hear the responses about this bit of news.  I think she should hire personal security and give her speech.  This is a PUBLIC university.  It receives a lot of taxpayer dollars and either the administrators need to ensure free speech for ALL on that campus, or the money needs to be stopped.  I heard a radio host suggest that the Cali state guard should be Federalized and should escort her onto campus.  This crap is out of control and needs to be addressed now.  The alt right wacko, Spencer was to speak at Auburn University and when a group of mask wearing thugs showed up to protest, they were told to remove the masks or be arrested!  What a difference geography and attitude can make in these situations :)

You gotta see this

Some of the comments on that are the kind of thing that make me extremely glad they probably live in some trailer in some woods a long way from anywhere else and they probably only ever come down the hill into town once in a blue moon, I must say.
