PersonFromPorlock Posted April 21, 2017 #3 Share Posted April 21, 2017 (edited) I'm sure that once they get the right people in charge, Socialism will work. That'll be the very next time, because they've already tried everyone else! Edited April 21, 2017 by PersonFromPorlock The irony was a little too ironic, I guess.

ellapenella Posted April 21, 2017 Author #11 Share Posted April 21, 2017 Maduro is telling the people that this is a U.S backed coup. That's a lie. George Soro's is behind it, if anyone is to be blamed because that is what Soro's does to nations.

Timothy Posted April 21, 2017 #13 Share Posted April 21, 2017 Mother of all protests? What an inaccurate title. Venezuela has been doing this for years. Companies are sticking around to hope for a positive change.

I think that when it comes down to that in a nation that was doing good at one time, and when we see what the rioters are trying to cause in our own nation, it does become the mother of all protests in a sense. My entire point for posting this was to try & bring awareness to people that this is want they want for America too. For all nations to surrender to a one world financial system. Maybe for a small community it could work, like when the settlers first arrived here in America? I could see where it was needed but I also can see where that sense of compassion has become a tool I think for something other.

Hey, from what I just realized is that they recently had there " The Mother Of All Marches" .I guess that's why they're calling it what they are. It doesn't make any sense why they stayed, I agree. Maybe, but they will not get very far: But its legal recourse against the Venezuelan government is likely limited, said Peter Quinter, Miami-based chair of the law firm Gray Robinson's Customs and International Trade Law Group. "They can go to the courts here in the United States and try to seek action, but that really is not going to be effective unless the Venezuelan government has some assets here” that could be seized as compensation, Quinter said. "I don't see that happening." http://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/general-motors/2017/04/20/general-motors-venezuela-plant-seized/100685120/4 I believe they just got not be bothered to do any thing at the time as Venezuela was not their priority: General Motors Co. (NYSE:GM, TSX: GMM) and its partners produce vehicles in 30 countries, and the company has leadership positions in the world's largest and fastest-growing automotive markets. https://www.gm.com/investors/earnings-releases.html but it has now happened---they really should not act surprised, they just were not quick enough to get out: GM's revenue in South America has dropped from more than $13 billion in 2014 to $7.2 billion last year primarily because of falling sales in Brazil and Venezuela, according to the company's annual report. The automaker also appeared to anticipate that the government might some day seize the plant. http://www.freep.com/story/money/cars/general-motors/2017/04/20/general-motors-venezuela-plant-seized/100685120/4
