Madeleine McCann detective "epic cover-up"

A former detective who led the initial investigation into the disappearance of Madeleine McCann has sensationally claimed that MI5 helped cover up her death.

Portuguese former police chief Goncalo Amaral, 56, told an Australian documentary that British secret agents “for sure had an involvement” when Maddie vanished at the age of 3 in 2007.

Mr Amaral also astonishingly claimed that former Prime Minister Gordon Brown was involved in the cover up.

Sounds legit. Bit sad he didn't voice his crazy ideas earlier, could have really made a real difference.

I don't usually go for conspiracy theories, but I saw a compelling documentary where behavioural psychologists analyzed interviews with Maddie's parents for signs of involuntary disclosure.

It was clear to them (and clear to me!) that the McCanns have consistently lied.

They need to get the McCanns away from their home and bug it.

Sad, but it seems the barbary slave trade continues. But why would the then British PM cover it up?

Because it is inconceivable that the initial police investigation was flawed and so must have been subject to sinister shadowy government forces led from the top.

I don't pretend to know what happened to this poor little girl, I have very few sympathies for the parents, who left her alone that night.  What I think I have a fairly decent handle on however is that this former detective was pretty thoroughly discredited, ended up losing his career, and wrote a book to bankroll his retirement and repair a damaged reputation.

The sad part is, the more people that come forward with unsubstantiated claims about the case, the harder it gets to decipher who is crying wolf.

You still haven't shown or rather the author hasn't why the British PM of the time is to blame for covering up. The only thing i can think of is that the little girl was abducted and sold to an influential Arab and he refused to give her back. Maybe to protect arm sales or trade? But there is no proof of that. Still its hard to imagine someone in the public eye and always scrutinised to display such a callous attitude to this little girl, whether it be the parents or politicians. If memory serves the British police have invested a lot of time and effort including the Spanish police too. I find it impossible to sympathise wth the parents and in many ways this whole tragic event reminds me of the Chamberlains in Australia... you know, a dingo took my baby. A mystery that makes no sense and no real closure.

Maybe the problem is that people occupying key public positions couldn't even open up their minds to a fellow freemason being guilty? So they all (from Richard Branson to Gordon Brown) threw their weight behind the McCanns leading to a biased police investigation. One, which even looking at today, assumes their innocence instead of asking the most obvious and plausible question.

The McCanns like the drama of the television cameras focusing on their plight to find their daughter. When the time is right, when they are nearing the end of their lives, they will seek one last huge dose of drama. That is, if no one is intelligent enough to nail them before then.

Madeleine McCann: Police still pursuing 'critical' lead 10 years on

Police investigating Madeleine McCann's disappearance say a critical line of inquiry is still being pursued, 10 years after she went missing.

Met Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said they still hoped they could provide answers to what happened.

Three-year-old Madeleine disappeared from a holiday apartment in Praia da Luz, Portugal on 3 May, 2007.

Police funds extended for six months  ........or in other words... "until the end of the holiday season."

We have a thread about that too.

I think one of the reasons all this is making the news again is because it's coming up to the 10th anniversary since she went missing.

Quote

Ahead of the 10th anniversary Kate McCann wrote in a message on the Official Find Madeleine Campaign Facebook page: "Ten years - there's no easy way to say it, describe it, accept it.

"I remember when Madeleine first disappeared I couldn't even begin to consider anything in terms of years...

"And now here we are... Madeleine, our Madeleine - ten years."

She said she and husband Gerry were "bracing ourselves for the next couple of weeks" of coverage.

He won his appeal against the McCann's, enough said really. Time to bury bad news with daily stories.  You can read his views (not proven facts) anywhere in Europe other than the UK.  Or you can read the daily headlines.

Did the Mcanns have any problems with other family or neighbours?

Out of the group of doctors they used to socialise with one reported Gerry McCann too the Police during the initial investigation for past oral sex remarks about his daughter Maddie. That was, and as far as I`m still aware still is, kept out of the UK media.

Watching their interview earlier today I can tell they`re lying http://news.sky.com/story/kate-mccann-says-she-still-buys-presents-for-missing-daughter-madeleine-10857258. Look for the little involuntary smiles and eye movements especially from Gerry. Watch him say `before Madeline was taken we managed to achieve a nuclear family off five` and notice the definite smiling in there. Its called duping glee.

The problem is nailing these two down and how they have co-opted important people onto their side.

You are referring to the infamous Gasper statements.  If they are true they are very disturbing.  Lots of people have also been disturbed by some of the professional photos taken of Madeline in rather grown up poses and many say were inappropriate for a child of that age.  For those who have not seen them I would liken them to an album cover for a female vocalist style picture.

There is also the mystery of the CATS 19309 file opened against Gerry McCann.  CATS is a number issued for child abuse cases.  It first came to light when the Portuguese Police requested a background check on the parents.  The file is reported to be empty so there are two theories.  One, which I think is probably the most likely it was opened after the disappearance in case any charges were to be faced in the UK.  Second, the file was cleansed by people high up possibly reached through Masonic connections.

Sadly I am pretty certain we will never know the truth whatever it may be.

My gut instinct and intuition from watching that Sky News interview is that he has killed her.

I would say that when Kate talks about some things being subconscious you can momentarily catch duping glee in her too when she drops the words changing things immediately. To me she also appears to be issuing NLP instructions to herself there to snap herself out of it. And when she goes on to talk about finding Madeline with her eyes blinking that is odd and there is a contempt expression on her face with it too.

The eye blinking and contempt expression to me appears to let it slip that Gerry killed her. And with them trying to lead the investigation by focusing every ones attention onto the continued search in a way that they want, and with them both having inserted themselves into the investigation, then I would suggest the Police need to be investigating elsewhere.

They need to establish where Madeline was in the days leading up to her `claimed time of disappearance` and to test any witness or day centre claims. This crime has been well planned out hence the lack of evidence and has been done so for weeks maybe even months beforehand. Therefore the police need to establish if Madeline was even in Portugal, and if she was, at what point she has actually been done away with by her parents.

I suspect they have friends on that holiday who are covering for them to help prop up the story that Madeline was either in Portugal or that she was in the holiday flat while they were eating dinner. Assuming she did go then in all probability she was likely dead and disposed off before that evening. I suspect that she'd have been dumped in a remote or secluded area a few hours drive from the resort. Possibly just across the border in Spain to capitalise on both police forces not working together properly.

Sociopaths dont become that way overnight, they have been that way their whole adult lives. These two both seem quite high functioning but like the vast majority of people they haven't lived and worked in isolation from others their whole lives. Therefore there will be plenty of people they have had a sociopathic run in with where they have actively tried to destroy those which they`re jealous off. There will be plenty of people out there who have seen through and behind the fake masks these two wear.

I have always been suspicious of Gerry McCann and his involvement with the Governments COMARE. The study into radiation effect on kids near nuclear power stations. Although dismissed by many it gave him the connections in the Government they called in that night.

I think I read Gordon Brown's brother was in charge of the British Nuclear energy at the time, not that I am saying that is why they called Gordon that fateful night after Sky news B)

People assume that (me too). Maybe political forces really are leaning on them and dictating the directions the investigation can take. Richard Branson is a major donator and member of the Labour Party and Gorton Brown was a previous leader of it. I am 95% certain Brown is a freemason because when power got handed to him he got called off to Washington (for the ceremony at that top freemason temple??). And he seemed to be a globalist, and lets all hold hands then hug trees, type of person.

Maybe, the police are neutral in this investigation and are simply playing along with the McCanns waiting for a mistake to occur?

I say invite them to Downing Street, bug their home, and record them over several weeks. Its illegal to do that but big deal. Get it played on every news channel around the world.

The data sheet shown in the vid isnt an EXIF data read out so the claim that the image has been taken on 05MAY cannot be backed by this data sheet. The Adobe PS file shown seems to be an own cataloguing data set of AssociatedPress and the date created value is the date AP recieved the image and created the (own) file related to it.

I think the MET are slowly realising they look completely ridiculous in this case.  12 million pounds and not a single theory that doesn't look like it has come out of a Miss Marple episode has been put forward.

We have had stories of a soothing couple entering the apartment night after night willy nilly, 12 British cleaners in a White transit (sounds crowded), burglars (don't they exist everywhere?). A guy carrying a child who was suspect number one for about 9 years who must have been vacationing on the moon to have missed this and eliminate himself.  A  dead paedophile, even with a death bed confession (shouldn't this have wrapped it up?). An Aussie sounding Victoria Beckham lookalike millionairess, some random Polish guy and his wife.  The list goes on.

This needs to be taken back to the beginning and for both the police forces to work together and no holds barred.  If the McCann's and their Tapas friends are offended so be it, the truth needs to be found out to restore credibility for both police forces.

In my opinion they both have ASPD (anti-social personality disorder) and are the high functioning sociopath variety. Duping pleasure is both present and obvious in a lot of their interviews. They are also missing a normal range of human emotions.

If you watch a press conference where parents are appealing for help in finding their abducted child they are distraught, hysterical and going through despair. It also doesnt cease it continues on for years as the parents think up dreadful scenarios that their child might be going through. These kind of emotions/reactions have never been present in the McCanns. If you watch their interviews there is also not a single one where they have actual tears rolling down their cheeks. Sure they act out crying and tell us they are upset but there are no actual water works.

Sociopaths know they are different from the rest of the population so they learn to mimic and play to human emotions. They act out having our emotions but the act is flawed because there are no real feelings behind the displays. Hence the lack of tears.

If we put ourselves into the shoes of a paedophile then why on earth would we be travelling around at night looking for a child to abduct? Surely we would go to the park in the day or something. Why on earth would we break into a holiday apartment (something for which there is no forensic evidence) because we would be dealing with the unknown. We dont know who is inside so we are risking being caught.

If we put ourselves into the shoes of a burglar then why upon being discovered by a child would we abduct her? Burgling a property is not a serious offence and usually doesnt even get the offender a prison sentence. Why risk life in prison for that?

The Government need to put in place a media block to prevent all reporting on this case, the parents need banning from appearing on the television, and the case needs shelving. Take all attention and drama away from these two lunatics and when the only way to get it back is to admit what they have done then they will.
