If this guys had it in his head to kill Republicans, I don't think free speech laws had much to do with it. Blame all the Leftist propaganda equating "right wing" to Nazi. There will be a lot more fallout from that in the future

What if, when we post this sort of thing more people see it. Then we accidently inspire someone to do this kind of horrid revolting act of hate. 

That would be bad. This is just hypothetical at this point. But it kind of feels like accidently empowering (the wrong way) through the use of social media.

It's a fine line between condemnation and boosting someones likes and clicks in these modern times of internet worship.

Imaginarrynumber says tehre are just as many on teh right that indulge in this but that is a leftist daydream, something they tell themselves to justify their abhorrent behavior, but please find the massive vomit of cheering tweets and social media posts celebrating Gabby Giffords shooting.  Don't bother, it isn't there, oh there are always a few crackpot but they are a far fringe, this outpouring of joy over Scalise getting shot is NOT fringe, it is very widespread, overwhelming in fact, there is no comparison.

It's true that we should tone down the rhetoric. That said, I can't and won't blame anyone or anything but the act and the criminal. All of these killers have "reasons" for their murders, but we must focus on them rather than other factors that are often used to further goals (censored speech, gun control, PC laws, etc.). We'll miss the boat if we don't look at the banal evil that is the common factor in all of these cases.
