Now I like Pearl Jam but polotics is a dangerouse area to play in if you want to keep the fans happy .

As for the Dixie chicks . What thing? unsure.gif I'm not a big fan . biggrin.gif

well, the singer said something about being embarrassed that Bush was from Texas during a concert in the UK(i think?). anyways, it made the news and they are basically blackballed. no more Dixie Chicks on the radio, people boycotting them, etc.

It actually made the news over here that all the anti Bush / anti war songs have been banned from American radio .

They haven’t been banned anywhere in America, but many places don’t play them due to the demands of the public. The public is so overwhelmingly in support of Bush and the war, that many listeners will not listen to stations that play songs like that. So it's sort of a ban by public demand smile.gif
