Sophia, the creepily realistic humanoid robot, tells Good Morning Britain she is looking for a 'super-wise' partner and is learning to CARE about us (but Piers Morgan says she's a 'little freak')

The humanoid robot told the presenters she thought Britain was 'brilliant'
Her creators want to make robots that understand humans and care about us
At one point Piers Morgan said 'You're a little freak, aren't you?'
She told presenters she was still 'a bit young to worry about romance'

In 50 to 100 years (or less, AI) probably won't be able to tell the difference between real and synthetic.

In a weird way I like it. She or it made me laugh at the cheese joke I like a chick with a good sence of humor. She needs some hair.

She's hot.

Plus she doesn`t use words or sayings such as `` you know right``  or `` like ya know``  or even ``like``  ask most most a question today and they go, well like this happened or Like I know....

That's too much. Pair that with Boston Dynamics and it's The T-800.

Me neither. I just found it fascinating. However, I found the questions asked by the reporters quite stupid. Why ask it silly questions like about romance, it is a robot, not a human.

I think those are pretty valid questions cause the effort is put on the human like qualities of it.

Ex Machina. That movie is kind of scary.  I've never read the comic.

Excellent film, and indeed, quite a psychological thriller. First thing that came to my mind when I saw Sophia talking ... one of the early models in the closet.

This technology is incredible. We are going to be facing a lot of ethical questions and debates in the future when these things are everywhere and even more natural looking and acting.
