I'm not using my home server for coming here, but it's not some outrageous rarity, you know. Etc. I'm not here to defend Hillary from more and less exaggerated accusations.

"Exaggerated accusations"

Yeah, we're done here. I typed out three different responses but none seemed to accurately portray how dumbfounded I am. You may as well be a flat Earth shill with those kinds of statements.

Well, one of the posters in this thread (was it you?) stated that Hillary sold nuclear materials to terrorists. If that's not an exaggerated accusation then I don't know what is.

What I don't understand is why more democrats aren't extremely angry at the MSM? They have been lying to you for a year about colluding with Russia, forcing you to defend a position that CNN has now admitted was a lie. Everything you've been shouting 'fake news' at for a whole year has turned out to be fake news and has made Trump look smarter and your first line of defence is to actually defend this lying sack of **** network? What's wrong with you?

Fixed that up for you

Now THAT is an example of fake news! And you buy into it hook line and sinker! Hilarious.

Yeah, the whole Russia thing must just be Obama trying to undermine Trump. Never-mind the fact that Russia helped out Trump, not Hillary, never-mind the fact that this story only is just now coming out, when if Obama was behind this it would have come out before the election so as to help Hillary not now. None of the 'theories' you side puts out about this make sense, and as more and more evidence emerges implicating collusion between Trump and Russia you just keep inventing more and more ridiculous absurd stories to explain it all away. We have emails from this lawyer to Trump Jr. stating in plain terms that the Russian goverment wants to help Trump, but that lawyer just must be working for Obama since we have a picture of (supposedly) her at a foreign affairs committee hearing sitting there and listening in must mean she is working for Obama, emails and the written English language be damned.

Yup, nothing to see here, any information from any source that supports Trump is real, anything that is damaging to him must be made up fake news. And I thought the democrats were more likely to fall for authoritarian BS like that, turns out I was wrong and it is the republicans who are at the front of the line when it comes to embracing dictatorial thinking in the USA.

Your side is sounding more and more out of touch with reality with each passing day.

You keep believing einie.  :tsu:

Are you delusional? Trump Jr Tweeted the proof of collusion out himself. That's not even up for debate, it's now a matter of public record.

Look, these emails prove that Trumps team was perfectly okay with Russian collusion if it would benefit them. These emails prove that the MSM has been right about this all along. I will never understand why you keep supporting Trump in light of all of this. The whole cult of personality dictator like strongman appeal has never appealed to me though I get that you love it and want more of it, but it is just so un-american and un-patriotic. Reagan must be rolling in his grave over and over again over all of this, to think that his party would be brought to this point, where Russia meddling in our election and helping out a candidate is not viewed by his party as outrageous and cause for alarm.

The contortionism that people are going to to blame Trump for silliness just burns the senses.  This highlights the true nature of the Left.  Get over it guys, your candidate lost, don't be such sore losers.  Your social engineering experiment failed.  The people got tired of it.  You can't hold down that American spirit.

Only thing left to debate is why he did it, why he tweeted it.

Does it mean he was about to be thrown under the bus by the rest of the family, or the whole family was thrown under the bus by Assange or whoever it was that advised them?

I think it means that he knew the NYT was about to release those emails and so he released them himself before they could do that to try and appear as though he was not trying to hide anything (when he certainly would not have released them if the NYT was not about to do so).

Keep dreaming. After all this Trump will be lucky if he survives his full 1st term. And all this is going to be an endless distraction and block his agenda bigly even if he does survive the full length of his 1st term.

No, I'm pretty sure I meant American Exceptionalism.

There is nothing about the Trump administration that resembles American Exceptionalism.

More like pettiness, lying, nepotism, grandstanding, showboating, distracting, lack of substance, lack of integrity, lack of discipline, totally out of touch, chaotic, disappointing, shameful, disgraceful, lunacy.

Now THOSE are words that define this administration. Exceptional only in how disappointing and disgraceful it is.

Certainly and certainly it would work until someone actually reads those mails... which is exactly what happened. By releasing them himself, he lost valuable time he could buy while claiming NYT faked or altered them.

Rushing to prove they are real, he buried everyone involved immediately.

That's why I find this bizarre, even for Trumps.

Is that why Assange advised him to release the emails? To incriminate himself?

Even if Trump Jr. believed he was going to get "damaging information" from Russian sources, did he get what he wanted? Did the Russians actually relay anything important to Trump Jr.? If not, then there is no story besides Trump Jr. trying to get an edge over Hillary's campaign. If the Russian's interfered in the elections, it was outside of Trump Jr.'s circle.

5 Reasons Meeting with the Russian Lawyer was Bad, but not Illegal

  1. It's not a crime to hear about damaging information on a political opponent, even if it's from a foreign government. Left-wing attorney Jonathan Turley notes that to consider such an action a crime would raise "major free speech and association issues."
  2. It's not clear that Trump Jr. actually received any noteworthy information on Clinton from the Russian government attorney.
  3. The meeting doesn't seem to be related to the hacking and leaking of emails from the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman John Podesta.
  4. Some are suggesting that Trump Jr. may have violated a campaign finance law with this meeting. He didn't.
  5. If what Trump Jr. did was illegal, then so was Hillary Clinton allies working the Ukrainian government for anti-Trump research

Everything is up for debate.

Yeah I don't know why I said Hillary. I meant "sold weapons". The uranium to Iran was the Obama admin

That's what it looks, seen from outside too.

I simply don't understand why would anyone consider that great or acceptable at all.

You see, that is why I struggle with your posts ExpandMyMind.

"undeniable acts of collusion" ?

"undeniable" ?

Dictionary definition of undeniable:

unable to be denied or disputed.
"it is an undeniable fact that some dogs are easier to train than others"
synonyms: indisputable, indubitable, unquestionable, beyond doubt, beyond question, beyond a shadow of a doubt, inarguable, undebatable, incontrovertible, incontestable, irrefutable,

See how they like to use those subtle little words to lie to themselves and hopefully have others sucked in to it? Textbook.

What do they prove? The released emails are a thread between Trump Jr and the Trump campaign manager setting up a meeting between Trump Jr. and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya. They briefly discuss some details of the upcoming engagement and that's it. Goldstone (campaign manager,) was told by the Russian Crown Prosecutor that they have incriminating evidence against Hillary Clinton they would be willing to share.

I ****en hate playing tit-for-tat all the time but it is in context. Give this a read and tell me how it's different than the Trump Jr. story.

Flashback: Hillary Allies Worked With Ukraine Government During Elections

Quote

Peter Hasson of The Daily Caller reminded everyone of a Politico report detailing the coordination between the two: Democratic National Committee (DNC) operative Alexandra Chalupa met with Ukrainian government officials for dirt on Paul Manafort, who at the time was rumored to replace Corey Lewandowski as Donald Trump's campaign manager.
[...]
The Ukrainian government denied the allegations made in the Politico report, but their denial was undercut by former Ukrainian embassy official Andrii Telizhenko admitting "that he was assigned to work with Chalupa" and that "they were coordinating an investigation with the Hillary team on Paul Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa."

Welcome to American politics. A lot of politicians are great with shovels cause all they do is dig for dirt.

He advised him to release the emails because the NYT already had them (this is declared in the Assange link you provided). The NYT also already stated this. They contacted him to give him time for a response and he tried to pre-empt them by Tweeting out the content.

And no, those are all opinions as to why it isn't illegal. Whether or not it is collusion - the original, almost year old accusation - is not up for debate. It is clearly collusion. It's a step by step in the process of the act of collusion with the Russian government. This could not be any more clear if he came out and said "I colluded with the Russians".

And for the record, point 3? We have no clue what happened in the meeting (or how many other meetings there have been). All we know is that Jr has lied and changed his story three times, showing clearly that anything he says cannot be trusted (if lying about collusion for an entire year isn't enough of a reason not to trust him).

But here's another that's also not up for debate. People can defend Jr regarding whether or not he broke the law, but Kushner has no such defence. In his application for security clearance he lied about this (and other meetings it seems), which is 100% a crime and punishable by law along with revocation of security clearance.

I don't know why I said picking cherries. I meant 'covfefe'.

Can we go back to the topic?

You've got Russians in Junior's emails. Was that really necessary for making America great again? You couldn't make yourself great without Russian assistance? Sad.
