Yeah, the whole Russia thing must just be Obama trying to undermine Trump. Never-mind the fact that Russia helped out Trump, not Hillary, never-mind the fact that this story only is just now coming out, when if Obama was behind this it would have come out before the election so as to help Hillary not now. None of the 'theories' you side puts out about this make sense, and as more and more evidence emerges implicating collusion between Trump and Russia you just keep inventing more and more ridiculous absurd stories to explain it all away. We have emails from this lawyer to Trump Jr. stating in plain terms that the Russian goverment wants to help Trump, but that lawyer just must be working for Obama since we have a picture of (supposedly) her at a foreign affairs committee hearing sitting there and listening in must mean she is working for Obama, emails and the written English language be damned. Yup, nothing to see here, any information from any source that supports Trump is real, anything that is damaging to him must be made up fake news. And I thought the democrats were more likely to fall for authoritarian BS like that, turns out I was wrong and it is the republicans who are at the front of the line when it comes to embracing dictatorial thinking in the USA. Your side is sounding more and more out of touch with reality with each passing day. You keep believing einie.

The whole cult of personality dictator like strongman appeal has never appealed to me though I get that you love it and want more of it, but it is just so un-american and un-patriotic. Reagan must be rolling in his grave over and over again over all of this, to think that his party would be brought to this point, where Russia meddling in our election and helping out a candidate is not viewed by his party as outrageous and cause for alarm. 3 Top

By releasing them himself, he lost valuable time he could buy while claiming NYT faked or altered them. Rushing to prove they are real, he buried everyone involved immediately. That's why I find this bizarre, even for Trumps. 2 Top

The released emails are a thread between Trump Jr and the Trump campaign manager setting up a meeting between Trump Jr. and Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya. They briefly discuss some details of the upcoming engagement and that's it. Goldstone (campaign manager,) was told by the Russian Crown Prosecutor that they have incriminating evidence against Hillary Clinton they would be willing to share. I ****en hate playing tit-for-tat all the time but it is in context. Give this a read and tell me how it's different than the Trump Jr. story. Flashback: Hillary Allies Worked With Ukraine Government During Elections Quote Peter Hasson of The Daily Caller reminded everyone of a Politico report detailing the coordination between the two: Democratic National Committee (DNC) operative Alexandra Chalupa met with Ukrainian government officials for dirt on Paul Manafort, who at the time was rumored to replace Corey Lewandowski as Donald Trump's campaign manager. [...] The Ukrainian government denied the allegations made in the Politico report, but their denial was undercut by former Ukrainian embassy official Andrii Telizhenko admitting "that he was assigned to work with Chalupa" and that "they were coordinating an investigation with the Hillary team on Paul Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa." Welcome to American politics. A lot of politicians are great with shovels cause all they do is dig for dirt.

I meant "sold weapons". The uranium to Iran was the Obama admin He advised him to release the emails because the NYT already had them (this is declared in the Assange link you provided). The NYT also already stated this. They contacted him to give him time for a response and he tried to pre-empt them by Tweeting out the content. And no, those are all opinions as to why it isn't illegal. Whether or not it is collusion - the original, almost year old accusation - is not up for debate. It is clearly collusion. It's a step by step in the process of the act of collusion with the Russian government. This could not be any more clear if he came out and said "I colluded with the Russians". And for the record, point 3? We have no clue what happened in the meeting (or how many other meetings there have been). All we know is that Jr has lied and changed his story three times, showing clearly that anything he says cannot be trusted (if lying about collusion for an entire year isn't enough of a reason not to trust him). But here's another that's also not up for debate. People can defend Jr regarding whether or not he broke the law, but Kushner has no such defence. In his application for security clearance he lied about this (and other meetings it seems), which is 100% a crime and punishable by law along with revocation of security clearance.
