“I put it all together, I was like, ‘OK the footsteps the first night, the doors being closed when I had left them open, the missing food, my dog in the sink.

“There was someone living in my house with me.

“So I very calmly got out of the tub and got my robe. I put it on. There was only one place he could have been hiding and that was in the bedroom closet.

This reminds me of those horror stories of people living in walls, or extra rooms that people don't use, and ultimately ends up being creepy.

Very interesting how reality matches up with fiction.

No, that was a benevolent ghost of a bum.

Reminds me of the Jimmy Stewart classic, It's a Wonderful Life, where a deceased person earns his his wings through a benevolent intervention. The attic door left open as a reminder that probability can sometimes near the miraculous.

It makes you wonder how many ghost stories were really about people living in the attic.

Quote

She grabbed her puppy and walked out the door in her robe with a hammer in one hand and puppy in the other.

I try to imagine a soaked woman in a bathrobe, dog in one hand, hammer in the other, talking about hidden people in her home

Creepy but also kinda nice. Problem is, was she being watched or just protected? Yes it 'could' be a good movie.

I think it was Susan Boyle, she's been missing for a while now..

I would be fuming mad if anyone did that to one of our 2 little dogs, mostly because they would be scared. Thankful attics are not common in Aussie houses
