Kangaroo punches boy in the face

Still Waters

Recommended Posts

This is the moment a kangaroo punches a young boy in the face after he got too close to the animal at an Australian zoo.

Dyson was at a wild life park at Glen Waverley in Melbourne with his family when his mother Tiff caught the bizarre moment on camera.

In the footage, which was posted online last week, Dyson can be seen standing less than a metre away from an emu and massive kangaroo.

That made me smile way more than it should have.

I am glad the boy is ok, it could have been far worse.

Kangaroos, from what I understand, seem to perceive direct approaches as a possible threat so I would think a series of coaxing and letting Mr. Roo come to him would be better.

He's lucky and I hope he learns not to listen to his older brother and just approach the hopper in his good time.

Okay, I laughed. I'm a terrible person.
