Of this fact. Nobody would question you.

I have one more question though, before I leave the topic so it returns to it's use.

When China inevitably takes position as the worlds largest trading nation and cuts America's share, how important to the American economy will southern and northern America become?

Why do you have more faith in America than you do Canada?

You heard that from the news

Fear

What happens next??

Lol

To go back you did say you were a teacher.. just not with toddlers... Lol

You said it in the gun thread with the Florida wacko.

Whatever doesn't matter. Lol

So what did the trusted news tell you about trade relations???  Lol

Now that the south and north HV met it's a grand conspiracy???

Lol

Turn off your tele.

You are a teacher think for yourself!

Cheap labour countries NEED America and Canada and Europe to buy their cheap labour goods.

Trump knows this!

Nope. Again. My view on world economics is based on the basics of supply and demand.

China is more willing to mistreat and under pay workers.

They are in a better position to use technoligical improvements and are more willing to atleast assume a viel of cooperation with trading partners.

It does not take a genius to understand that any country is only as valuable as it's resources. And China is far more cut throat as a business model than any Western Christian based nation could ever bring itself to be

I think perhaps we could start a thread predicting the future of the world economy. Could be interesting.

That's zenophobic talk.. I'm an individual who lives next door to the greatest nation ever!

As our Lord saviour King has repeated, A strong America, is beneficial to the rest of the world.

No truer words ever spoken!

China would crumble without the USA

They are in a catch 22

It is still funny to read this sort of commentary knowing you live in Canada.

I'm never sure whether old Acidhead is being satirical or not.

I guess when you live in a country that will essentially become the food bowl for it's surrounding nations you have a different perspective.

I have split the topic if anyone wishes to continue the world economics discussion

I don't think he is. Still. I am quite happy to continue a discussion on World economics.

As a human being who went from having nothing but a suitcase and money for smokes. To owning a four property rental portfolio, I would love to see how I was influenced by some msm.

funny, that's what everyone's been asking about the "Democrats"' allegations about Russian interference for the best part of two years. Now all of a sudden you're suddenly interested in evidence. :hmm:

Well, possibly, you can criticize America's Donald Trump for many things, but at least he so far hasn't dressed up like this ...

Have you heard of capitalism? It's not exactly based on concern for those worse off than yourself.

And here I was typing up a serious discussion point

Economics

It is a strange and magical thing. And yet all value is only what one person is willing to pay for any given service or product. How desperate one human being is to having something another person can supply.

Need is not enough to own. A person must have the measurable wealth to achieve ownership, or they risk losing that ownership to a wealthier or less risky debt partnership.

This is the basics. But these basics can be used when discussing anyform of economics.

The basic needs of a nation need to be equalled with that nations ability to cover it's needs.

Where do you predict your nation will be? Who do you think your nation will rely on?

Have you heard of Unionism?

You know I'm joking. You're British, the nation that invented rebelion to the opressor.

Unionism and Christian valued society will always push our nations to caring for the meek and understanding the worker is essential to the marketer.

When robotics takes the place of the union member, a nation loses consumers that can afford to consume the  manufactured products.

Countries need to balance income witb outgoings and a valued living standard.

Hence my Russian Bot comment recently. But I do like that posters like Vlad exist.

It is proof we are mostly independent thinkers capable of different un-trained ideas.

Disclaimer. Do not be offended. This is a good thing. Some of us can not guess where you stand.

Everything Vlad - I have been a member for a short while now and know where most posters are coming from on most topics - with you I am often wrong footed.

As I said its not a criticism - I think you play your hand well.

Unionism

Unionism in Britain probably has a different meaning. Example the full name of the Tory party is something like the Conservative and Unionist party where the unionist bit is a reference to maintaining the union of the 4 parts of the UK as far as I know. Unionist parties in Northern Ireland are all about ensuring that it remains within the UK as opposed to uniting with Ireland.

As the economics things go in cycles - china gets a lot of outsourced work due to low wages - higher wage economies either need to specialise in jobs that china can't offer cheaply, or lower wages. As time progresses there will be little that china et al can't do - so low wage economies are on the horizon imo especially with automation.

So on a stage of world economics, where does your country stand? Who is it dependant on, and how can it maintain a decent living environment for it's working class and it's entrepeneurs?

That is a good question - one which unfortunately has not been properly / successful addressed since my country became a country almost 100 years ago. We rely too heavily on other parts of the UK to subsidise us and on public sector jobs - many outsourced from other parts of the UK.

Brexit is a concern to many of us both politically and economically, where either you believe it is a panacea for great things ahead or a fore-bearer of doom and gloom.

But setting those things aside I will consider and revert - at least it will get the old grey matter working for a change.

I'm always interested in evidence. Especially when it involves something that I can't quickly verify with Google.

Russian interference in the US 2016 election has been confirmed on multiple occasions by the US Intelligence Community. I trust them to tell the truth on that.

. You mean possibly as much as $10,000 dollars worth of ads on Facebook, some of them critical of America's Donald Trump? And, sorry, I can't believe even you meant that last sentence to be taken seriously. You trust the U.S. intelligence Community?!

I trust them on this.

As per their indictment -- the Russian troll farms were spending more than a Million per month. There's the whole DNC email hack thing, too.

LoL

It's posts like this that got our Lord saviour elected!!

Not a religious man, myself.

I should have probably posted the El Caribe information first, I guess, for context:

... Cohen's uncle, Morton Levine, was a wealthy Brooklyn doctor who owned the El Caribe Country Club, a Brooklyn catering hall and event space that was a well-known hangout for Russian gangsters. Cohen and his siblings all had ownership stakes in the club, which rented for years to the first Mafiya boss of Brighton Beach, Evsei Agron, along with his successors, Marat Balagula and Boris Nayfeld.

My girlfriend's father had a very popular restaurant in the South Boston area. Mobsters like Whitey Bulger and Stephen 'the rifleman' Flemmi  were known to frequent the establishment. So, does this make my friend a member of the Boston mob?
