'Devil's letter' written by 'possessed' nun

Scientists in Italy have used a piece of code found on the dark web to decipher a 17th century letter written by a Benedictine nun while she was apparently possessed by Satan.

In 1676 Sister Maria Crocifissa della Concezione woke up to find her face covered in ink and a letter she had penned in an incomprehensible mix of Greek, Cyrillic, Arabic and Runic languages.

She and her sisters at the Palma di Montechiaro convent in Sicily believed the message had been delivered by a demon, but they were unable to make any sense of the text.

The devil has no power over anybody.

Unless you give it to him.

What were the scientists doing lurking around on the dark web?

All I can find outside of tabloids is a wiki page in Italian with no citations to back it. And it claims the letters says something completely different.

I actually agree, but for different reasons.

I heard that Bob Dylan signed a Soul Contract with Lucifer.

He admitted it in a segment on 60 Minutes.

Aldous Huxley wrote about that in the Devils of Loudon. Been a long time since I read it, but appeared to have been an outbreak of mass hysteria.

Well, living a cloistered life in the 1600s  probably would drive a lot of people crazy.

Evil (inherent in free will choosing) is trouble by making a mistake due to the lack of experience. Like when you bump your head.

Sin (deliberately and knowingly doing the wrong thing) is creating hell by your own choosing which can affect others more than it affects yourself a lot of the time.

Iniquity (to deliberately and knowingly do the wrong thing habitualy, continuously) is the height of insanity and cowardice which distorts the mind and personality that eventually leads to annihilation, personality extinction.

There's a difference between all three. But when someone commits themselves to being iniquitous wholeheartedly, the devil (the iniquitous one) will smell them out and pay them a visit.

That's for sure.

He'll come by to suggest things for the iniquitous to do in case they run out of ideas.

'Nonsense' letter written by 'delusional' nun.

Neat.

It was kinda neat. It just takes you, for a moment, into her subconscious...and that was apparently a very dark place.

Has Lucifer acknowledged it happened?  (Gotta get both sides)

I missed this thread and after reading another article on it couldnt help but wonder if this was more a case of an intelligent thought the nun was trying to convey in a time where her statements would have been considered blasphemy...

It's on Youtube. Search Bob Dylan sells soul to devil.

The story i heard was that Bob tried to retire but he got a visit from Lucifer.

"That was not part of the contract."

"Go back to work!"
