Scientist finds secret to thriving

What it takes to thrive, rather than merely survive, could be as simple as feeling good about life and yourself and being good at something, according to new research.

From a teenager studying for their exams to an employee succeeding at work, thriving can be seen at all ages and across all cultures.

Until now and despite plenty of theories, there has been no agreement on what makes a person thrive or on how people can try and ensure they do.

Not sure anything on that list is new. The list is all well and good if things go to plan, but LIFE is not that simple.

here is the B list, and this is were things can go wrong: but seriously, research ?? this is not new.

note, although it says to thrive you do not need all on the list, but if one goes wrong it can stop the thriving in an instant!

Thriving is all about being happy with what you have.   Unlike the "elite" who spend their miserable lives worrying that someone has more than them

I thrive when I vanquish my foes.

Or eat a particularly good burrito. I'm easy to please.

My wife was tortured as a child.

She remains loving and thrives.

Resilience is far stronger than strength.

Letting go is far more potent than revenge.
