9/11 Conspiracy Won't Go Away

Don't lawyers want "9/11 truthers" and "Moon Landing deniers" on jurys because they're as dumb as a box of hammers... they'll believe anything. 9/11 happened as we saw it, get over it.

I'm posting this article because I'm sure I won't be the only one who discovers in it facts that they didn't know before.

ROFL, a known truther and great expert for architecture like Griffin ( retired American professor of philosophy of religion and theology,) is trying to sell a new book with the same old drivel (including the nutty idea that not only the evil conspirators had to tell the BBC about the collapse of WTC7, they were also stupid enough to do so too early AND the BBC was stupid enough to broadcast it too early)  that has been debunked about 15 years ago, and a truther thinks it is something new. Just shows that "intelligent" "honest" and "truther" are still mutually exclusive.

I keep hoping just the thread will go away. I'm not even considering the "truthers" might go away.

But we can't even have that.

Coincidently picking the exact day and time our security systems were running drills rendering them ineffective in live time is one.

Then dropping 3 buildings with two planes, one of which was never even hit by a plane. That was pretty amazing.

That third building was the only part of the events of that day that seemed almost impossible to me.  The idea of a government conspiracy is just not possible, IMO.  Too many moving parts, too many people would have had to know.  Secrets like that have a VERY short shelf-life.  Even if it was an attack that had been detected but not stopped, there would have been people up and down the chain that would have recognized what had happened and why.  OTOH, I CAN believe that our security specialists could have been locked into a cultural kind of group-think blindness that severely curtailed their imaginations about the possibilities of such an attack as was staged.  The FIRST thing I thought of after realizing what had happened was the Tom Clancy novel - DEBT OF HONOR.  The plot ended with a terrorist diving a fully fueled 747 into the U.S. Capitol during a joint session of Congress with both the president, vice-president and the USSC present under the roof.  But hey, it was just fiction, right?

That's what I've always said, bearing in mind the numbers that must have been involved. People might say, but look at secret aircraft projects and Area 51 and the fact that what goes on there is still a secret even now, but there's a difference between projects in the interest of national security/defense and so on and conspiracies like this which was nothing but a gigantic criminal conspiracy. It is hard to believe that no one involved has ever had enough conscience to come forward, even in anonymity, I'd have thought.

I remember years ago going over all this. I spend hours and hours combing over everything. I have no intention of going through all that again, but I will say it took a lot less people then one might think. To me they ordered a stand down at the very least.

What i do not understand is how did people who had bombs in their vans got released from prison and were never part of investigation. I am not saying they had plans to bomb New York city but why did they drive around with explosives on that day? Imagine if those were Americans or African Americans, they would pay for it i am sure.

When investigation was pointing out towards company which owned those vans, owner of the company was already long gone. Reminds me of USS Liberty in some way.

I remember at first it was said that Arabian terrorists were found in vans with explosives. Later on it was determined that those were Israelis.

My question is is that 'story about vans' pure fiction and lie?

Is it true that there were people who had explosives in their vans which were stopped by police and jailed right after tragic event? I've read many articles about it.

[edit] to add : bmo it's because stories like this that 9/11 conspiracy will never go away

Yep that whole story is true. They also had a painting of a plane flying into one of the towers in the van.

They buried that quick as they could. And never spoke of it again. Alternative media couldn't even force it into the spot light. Then again alternative media didn't have the power it does today.

Very sad for democracy.

Usually, i go with what officials say about it but Netanyaho and Ehud Barak's statements were crazy from 1990s till now.

This video is interesting ( btw i've read most of Natanyaho's book but stopped at some point as his motives were pretty obvious and had little to do with reality ) :

Prediction? Maybe.

I love Ghandi and his views on violence, honor and morality. Afterall he is world authority when it comes to morality. As he said, '' the truth is self sustained it doesn't need your help '' not exactly how he put it but that was the essence of it. Now, in this information era of some sort where information ( and disinformation, unfortunately ) are widely spread and also easily spread, truth will find it's way easier.

Even if Israel had nothing to do with it, let's say it did not, we can not disregard information nor our right to get informed. What you thing of this short part of talk by Bibi?

[edit] to add, video starts to repeat his claim over and over again sorry for that no need to watch whole of it

911 truthers can be psycho, however there are many groups of structural engineers and plane pilots that have come forward by the thousands since then to dispute the official story. My biggest issue has always been regarding the plane that hit the pentagon. As many cameras outside that the pentagon MUST have, we have never been shown the footage of the plane coming in, but we were shown on TV the ones hitting the towers. Also, the pilot that flew the one into the pentagon was known to be a poor pilot (even his flight instructor said he had issues with small planes), the idea that he can just hop on a boeing and hit a target that low to the ground is too hard for me to believe. There are videos on YT of some of the most well known pilots in the world talking about this very issue, and how they could barely pull off what the hijackers did that day.

So you are calling people dumb that ask questions and don't believe the "official version" of the story? Many people lost many loved ones in that incident and they want to know the truth. Anybody with half of a brain knows something just is not right about 911. To call people dumb for asking questions and doing research is downright ignorant on your part and shows your ignorance on the matter. I ask who is really the dumb one here?

The truthers are focused a lot on the lack of response by the air defense system. I worked in the business most all my USAF career, and it was clear that the defense of external threats/events was it's focus. While there were plans for internal events, they were not routinely practiced nor well thought out.  It doesn't surprise me at all that the USAF/FAA system responding that morning wasn't particularly well executed with multiple internal events...they caught us flat-footed, simple as that.

What I've read shows how quickly they could improvise some things that were beyond the scope of any existing procedures...just not quickly enough....failure of imagination.

No we are calling them dumb and dishonest because they have, over more than 15 years, repeatedly demonstrated that they  literally "just ask questions" and will ignore any answers they don't like. Truthers dishonestly act as if there were no answers, even when those answers have existed for more than a decade.

Give an example of an answer they don't like please. I also wonder how you group everybody into one box as if everything is just plain black and white. And with calling them Truthers that is a way of making them separate as if they are separate humans with lower IQs. You are doing the same thing the CIA started in 1967 calling anyone who challenges the official narrative a conspiracy theorist. This time the word of the day is truther. That is a way of belittling someone so they go back into submission and stop asking questions on a topic. When things like this happen that is when I get suspicious and it shows that the Powers That Be are in fact hiding something.

I was in the Air Force at one time also. So are you saying the Air Force was asleep at the wheel at that time? Was there not a training-drill going on for the same exact scenario? I know it was reported that it was.Imagine that little coincidence. So it is my contention that the Air Force thought it was a drill and not the real thing. So whoever the sick culprits really were had to know about that drill going on and had to have some inside information.

Nope. How long did it take to intercept Payne Stewarts's jet and why?

All of this interception and drill malarkey is nonsense. Drill or not an interception was physically impossible in the time available.

I find that hard to believe when we have the best Air Force in the world. A drill would have thrown them off just enough as you said in the time available.

Doesn't matter how good the Air Force is, or their equipment. It's just a physical impossibility to intercept something already air bound, traveling hundreds of miles an hour, from 100's of miles away when you don't know the destination.

Funny thing is, another aspect of the conspiracy is the theory that UA93 may have been intercepted and shot down at Shanksville, but that it was covered up.

What you believe is irrelevant. It was simply physically impossible to perform an intercept even if there were no drill at all.
