I'm an 'apatheist' that doesn't care about the 'God question'. Having said that, I cannot begrudge others, their beliefs. Only problem I have with people and their beliefs, is if they harm others because of them. Not like it matters. We're all going to die one day anyway.

XenoFish Posted September 10, 2017 #38 Share Posted September 10, 2017 You'll get used to it. I've seen two deaths due to cancer, staring down the barrel of someone's possible demise due to it, and now live with the same illness that took my beloved grandma. Smoke'em if you got'em. But I will say I went through the whole cancer and death thing with my step-father when I was 10-12 yrs old... I understand at the very least from the perspective of that experience... My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family my friend...

If there is such a thing as 'God', I see it as completely indifferent. So, if that is the case, 'what is the point'?

Not to go into another moral debate, but just cause God says something is good, doesn't deem it so. http://wiki.ironchariots.org/index.php?title=Euthyphro_dilemma

I just wish that those thoughts would inspire more profound action. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
